so i just bought a nemesis clone and i dont like it. i hate the bottom button its kind of a pain in the ... and cramps up the hands. so now im looking for a new mod one preferable with low voltage drop, 510 treading, hits like a train and has a top firing button. anyone know what i could get? it would be best if you preferable had experience with the mod so you could tell me how it is. i see a lot of clones like the 69 but at the same time im reading that the buttons on them dont work right

Ny ides? thanks in advance

also im hoping it something fasttech or focalecig carries.

if you are hell bent on a tube mod...sigeli makes quite a few mechanicals that have a pinky side mounted button

the only mechanical tube i know that was ever in production that had a side button similar to the ego's placement was the ikon, made by pure smoker, it's been discontinued but i've seen them pop up in the classifieds once in a while....if you see one, get it....they are very well made and will last a lifetime

thanks vape nerd. ill check it out. i want a button that sits at the top, because i feel like a pinky button would be just like the bottom button on the nemesis and i wouldnt be happy with it. it seems the only think with a top firing button worth the time is a poldiac and a 69, and the poldiac i keep hearing from reviews that the button sucks

then again poldiac and 69 are all ive found and know about

Authentic Poldiacs are nice and the button has worked just fine for me... I can't speak for the clones. And don't let the low side button mods throw you off either. I have a old school V1 EA that I use regularly. I don't think that anyone who uses a mod with a low side button (i.e. GG style) uses their pinky... you just kind of hold the mod and squeeze, button can be anywhere from your palm to your finger... best way to describe it is to hold any mod and gently squeeze... the button would be depressed in that action. The low side button is actually my favorite, just hard to find mods that utilize it... with that said, if I can get a hold of a GG, i'd jump on it! But a low side button is COMPLETELY different than a bottom button...

Oh... and for what its worth, i have some bottom button mods that would cramp my hands... i.e. Hades... and a lot of that has to do with the stiffness of the button itself... i dont have any experience with the Nemesis clone, so don't know if it uses springs or magnets... But I know for my Hades, I ended up cutting the button spring so that the throw was much much softer... and it made it much more pleasurable to use. Just cut little by little until you reach a tension you like... And if you're using magnets, I believe boiling them for 15 mins or so will soften them quite a bit...

Just some ideas as it sounds like you just might enjoy a bottom button if the tension was right... I just picked up a Nanos and that button has a 1mm throw and is light as a feather!! By FAR the most enjoyable bottom button i've ever used... and the magnetic lock/unlock action is ingenious.... it "snaps" to your desired position (think Zippo top). If you ever get a chance to play with one, i HIGHLY recommend it... it would change your mind about bottom buttons!!
