What is the policy about sharing e-mail addresses with forum suppliers?

The reason I asked is because I have just received a e-mail from a supplier that has their own subforum here and it said that I had authorized them to send me e-mails. I have never dealt with this company and have never registered on their website. I only deal with 4 companies atm and have registered on their sites.

Who did this company get my email from.

It's hard to say. You may need to ask them. I know for a fact that they cannot access your email address from this forum, and we do not give out member's email addresses to anyone.
