If you have no issues using Kanthal @AliyaPlush, you could try Kanthal flat wire. As it'll keep the resistance and surface area high.

For low wattages, I'd try MTL clapton wire instead of kanthal flat wire.

You can certainly buy flat wire thin enough for low wattages. However it is EXTREMELY hard to coil 0.9mm x 0.1mm wire. It is the equivalent of trying to make a coil from curling ribbon.

Either 1.0mm x 0.14mm flat wire or 0.8mm x 0.2mm is very simple to coil. But you need to run those coils at 20 watts and higher:

$2.31 Authentic MKWS Kanthal A1 Ribbon Heating Wire - 0.14mm*1.0mm flat size / 30ft (10m) at FastTech - Free Shipping

$2.34 Authentic MKWS Kanthal A1 Ribbon Heating Wire - 0.2mm*0.8mm flat size / 30ft (10m) at FastTech - Free Shipping

    or for faster shipping:

If you like MTL, this is the tank I have wanted for quite awhile (but I have moved on to restricted DL now) It is a RDTA (tank below the "RDA" deck) but I love everything about this design (including the "valve" fill port) Simple build and I'm sure you will like like it but it's only available from China (but one of the better sources):
Vapefly Galaxies MTL Squonk RDTA 2ml - Stainless
Might take awhile to ship but worth the wait.
