If you have no issues using Kanthal @AliyaPlush, you could try Kanthal flat wire. As it'll keep the resistance and surface area high.
For low wattages, I'd try MTL clapton wire instead of kanthal flat wire.
You can certainly buy flat wire thin enough for low wattages. However it is EXTREMELY hard to coil 0.9mm x 0.1mm wire. It is the equivalent of trying to make a coil from curling ribbon.
Either 1.0mm x 0.14mm flat wire or 0.8mm x 0.2mm is very simple to coil. But you need to run those coils at 20 watts and higher:
