I'm 66 and have smoked analog over 40 years. I now smoke ultra-lights, 100's, up to 2 packs a day. I need suggestions to get going with a commercial system that has the following:
- two batteries that last very long (like 1,100 maH).
- a box of empty cartomizers so I can add my own commercial juice.
- a USB that connects to my computer for chargng.
- a wall socket charger.
- a mouthpiece (or whatever it's called).
- an atomizer heating element that produces good vapor (reasonably low ohms).
- whatever else you think I need to make a complete systm.
Help. Thank you very much.

If I were to suggest anything. Skip the cig-alikes. The battery life is horrible, prefilled cartomizer taste horrible.

I would recommend a mvp it's user friendly, has a great battery life, usb charger, and had an ego and 510 connection.
Protanks are very good for beginners fill and vape!

Do lots of research, is there a brick and motor store close by? It's helpful to try before you buy. You might spend more money but already you'll get something you like.

Try this.....http://www.myvaporstore.com/Vision_Spinner_Joye_Ego_C_Twist_Combo_p/vvs-c.htm. Good starter set. Your choice of 2 batteries & 2 tanks. Good luck & VAPE ON:vapor:

I second this recommendation. Go with the Joye eGo Twists and Kanger EVOD clearos. You will need some replacement coils as well - Atomizer Head for Kanger Protank, EVOD, Unitank

You can also pick up cartomizers there. The Kangers, Boge, or Smoktech dual coils are all good - 510 Cartomizers

You will also need a cone if you use cartomizers - eGo Cone Shape Cover

Drip tips (mouthpiece) here - Drip Tips E Cigarette

Dripping atomizer for tasting flavors before committing a carto or clearo to that flavor - Joyetech Joye 510 Atomizer

Welcome to ECF. I am almost 6 months cigarette free after 46 years of 2pad Marlboros. This is what I used to start:

http://www.myvaporstore.com/Vision_Spinner_Joye_Ego_C_Twist_Combo_p/vvs-c.htm

I got the 2 Vision Spinner 1300mah and the Kanger Evod. I also bought a couple of cheap Joye 510 attys to drip juice into. I found that I love the ritual of dripping into that oldstyle atomizer. It replicates the act of smoking for me. I still use them 95% of the time.

They key for me was finding the right juice to vape at the right level. I started out at 18mg and for that first week I felt like the cigarettes were chasing me. :D Someone suggested I up my nicotine level to 24mg and once I did I never smoked another cigarette and pretty much did not want to. I am still going strong. Here are a few more links for you to read:

Here are two starter kits that meet your criteria.
One includes MiniProTanks for the juice, which are great "clearomizers" or "glassomizers".
The other lets you choose your batteries, and choose your "clearomizers" - so you could try one MiniProtank, and one T3 or EVOD, for example.
These "clearos" are easy to use - you should come back here perhaps for some tips - or if you have any trouble like leaks or gurgles - those things happen, but can be avoided with a little advice.

These are both good setups - good enough to help you quit smoking; good enough to last a while; better than a lot of people get as their very first setup. More like their second, after they start with something like "Blu" and realize it's POSSIBLE to quit and vape - but that the "blu"-type stuff isn't good ENOUGH. This should be.

All you need is juice!

I'm going to third (fourth?) this kit recommendation. It took me several months to figure out a set up this good, and once I did, I've been working with a similar set up for nearly a year. I would recommend it to nearly everyone! My particular recommendation for a combo on this would be a 650 Twist (for out and about) and a 1300 Spinner (for heavy-duty home vaping). For the topper, I really like the Kanger T3's, but you might want to spring for a Protank 2 for your second option. They are larger capacity, Pyrex glass, and very durable and easy to use. The original Protank is good, but I, for one, don't really like the taste of the metal tip. This set-up, plus e-juice, will totally get you started!
