You could get a 5V 510 PT. These are the PT's that don't have the battery box. The eGo T is not a 5V device and it won't work with HV atties.

If you want a device that you can carry around, you can check out the GLV2 at Great Lakes Vapor. There's also the Indulgence, which is what I use and there are plenty of VV devices out there as well.

There are tons of mods , out there , that will allow you to vape at 5 or 6 volts . Any of the VV devices (variable voltage) The ProVari , is one . And a lot of the mods , can use sevral different sizes of batteries , allowing for vaping at different voltages , as well . I myself , have a Reo Grand , and a couple Prodigy V3.1's , You can vape these at 3.7 , 5 , or 6 volts , just by changing the batteries . So lots of choices , out there . Good luck , in your search .

those GLV2's look pretty snazzy i cant figure out though if you can change the voltage... do i just change the atomizer for the voltage i want? looks pretty simple thoo dnt need nuthin too fancy

The 5 volt GLV2 is an excellent PV but it is not variable volt. You would need to look at the Darwin, Provari or Infinity or one of Ken's VV box mods for variable voltage to name several of the well supported ones.

For variable voltage, I've been very happy with the Notcigs Infinity, been using it full time for 5 months. I just ordered their new Buzz Pro. A new Infinity Pro should be out in another 3 weeks or so, probably cost about $30 - $40 less than the Buzz Pro. If you get one, pick up the battery/charger option, plus a spare set of batteries (about $9 for the pack of 2 batteries). It doesn't have LCD display, but is a simple, rugged, VV mod, easy adjust with a thumbwheel. (many VV mods, though not the Darwin/Provari/Infinity/Buzz, use a screwdriver to adjust) At notcigs, their coupon code is ECF Buzzkill. I don't know the ones for the other VV vendors. For a low cost VV, you could try something like: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...3021-variable-volt-box-mods-great-prices.html I haven't used it, just another option.

If you don't want a mod you might try an ego battery (or ego clone) and a low resistance atty. HV atties are designed to be used at higher voltages and are higher resistance. They vape cooler than a regular one. You want LR. They're designed to give a more powerful vape at standard voltages.

A standard Joye 510 is around 2.3 ohms. Low resistance are available in various flavors from 1.5 to 2.0 ohms. You can also use a LR 306 atty instead of a 510. They vape hotter and are popular with a lot of folks and are 510 thread compatible but require a 306 drip tip if you're dripping.
