I Need Help with my Computer!

When I shut down firefox I keep getting the message:

Firefox is already running, but is not responding. To open a new window, you must first close the existing Firefox process, or restart your system.

I have to log off and log back on to use this web browser again.

- Right-click on any blank area of your Taskbar and select "Task Manager"
- Go to the Processes tab in the Task Manager window that opens up
- Click on the "Image Name" header to sort the processes alphabetically
- Locate "firefox.exe," click it to select it, then click on the End Process button at the bottom

That will kill Firefox.

Right On Caffeinated, another quick way to access the Task Manager is from your key board. Press at the same time, Ctrl + Shift + Esc.

Firefox does that to me as well sometimes, usually if you wait a few secs for the PC to finish registering that it has closed then you can reopen it.
