I did all that as well. Thanks yosam. Any other ideas?
I have had some new carts that had filler that wouldn't wick juice. Try changing out the filling. I use simple poly fill and it works well.
I've also seen carts that had too much stuffing and removing about 25% and 'refluffing the stuffing' it made a world of difference. Also make sure the cart goes to the same depth as the original to be sure it is making contact with the atty bridge.

that's a good idea. I usually just match it up to the cart and I'm pretty sure they're a little different

I got some 901 whistle tips for my 510 and I can't seem to get even half the amount of vapor than with the round carts. I'm using the same juice and cart filler and I'm having no luck. I like the feel of the flat carts more but enjoy more vapor. IMO they suck. Is is because I have the "D" type?

ok, the shredded PTB works in my 401 but i am still working on my 510. a full PTB shredded didnt work but im am seriously vaped out. tomorrow i am going to try 3/4 maybe 1/2 of a PTB to see if it works. I did have really good vapes on the 510 flat tips with Fluval and the straw mod. you just have to find the right amount to get the right flavor and vapor. I hope this helps!

the new 510 flat tips I've been getting from Nhaler have 2 air slots and work great with a full PTB. A little more flavor. the end dosen't seem like it can pop out(but maybe it can)- I haven't tried hard. He dosent sell blank one, but there still worth it. I like the bite. I immediatly rip out the polyfill and replace with PTB. I have been using one of my PTB filler (washing every other day) for 3 weeks now, and it shows no signs of wearing out. The end that hits the atty was just barely showing signs of fraying (like .5 mm) allmost nothing- I just trimmed it off. These don't come apart like fluval or poly. They are woven so it dosen't fray easilly. I love em'.

I get way more vapor, flavor, and an easier draw with my "D" style 901 flat tips on my 510. I use straight up polyfill with no mods. You must be doing something wrong. My guess is overfilling and flooding your atty. Try blowing out the excess in your atty and a little less liquid in your cart.

Because I have J118s - I use these on my 510
J118s are VX2 from Litecigusa.net - I think True Smoker has them too.

J118 whistle tips are thicker than the 901s whistle tips. If you hang the PV out of your mouth, the J118 carts are easier to hold in your teeth than the 901's for me.

Well obviously I was doing something wrong. I was loading the the ptb the same way as the round but they are different lengths so I've been changing the amount of filler. That's cool that he poly works well for you but this works for me, now. Also, at this point, I'm never flooding my atty. Never, but thanks though.
