I need some quick advice, would appreciate quick replies

This is my first post here, I hope I have this in the right place. (I'm not much of a forums guy, but this place has great and has been very helpful)

A quick summary... I got into vaping to help me quit smoking a couple weeks ago, and so far i must say I have been loving it. Not only am I free of all the harsh toxic chemicals and tar that comes with regular cigarettes, the gear that goes along with vaping and all the different mods and attys is, well... cool. Needless to say, I have dived in head first. There is a lot I need to learn still (I am about to start messing around with rebuildables any day now, I have watched a hundred different videos on the subject so I am fairly confident), but I have learned the most important thing already- I love this stuff and there's no going back.


Anyways, to the important part, I need some quick feedback

I currently have access to buy either a authentic chi you, or a authentic GGTS, with a authentic Ithaka, an aquaintance is getting rid of his mechanical collection (I happen to love mechanical mods) Price is the same, chi you comes solo, whereas the GGTS comes with the Ithaka so I am really leaning in that direction.

I am also thinking of buying a authentic Jessy with compass and aviator, the thing is a beast. And what about a Poldiac?

Anwers and opinions would be GREATLY welcome. I don't have much time to make up my mind. (when it comes to the some what expensive price tag for the GGTS or Chi you...well I'm getting a deal but also I am returning a bunch of crap I bought when I didn't know any better, comes out to the same price, so I can at least justify the purchase to myself. Trading a bunch of crap I don't need for 1 thing that I do... want) Thanks in advance

I can only speak for the GG stuff, you can't really go wrong with it. Plenty of info in the GG forum,and if you ask any questions they get answered pretty quick.
Also,you can always get a decent price for the stuff if you decide you want to sell.

I'm not a mech person myself, but hope you get your answers. If you need speed because the offer has a finite period in which you need to respon, how about posting another thread such as "Chi You or GGTS?" or "Jessy or Poldiac". That may capture the attention of those folk who know all about them. Good luck!

Most GGTS's in the last two years or so were sold as either all stainless steel or a mix of stainless and brass. Also at times spare parts are made of both metals so you can create your own styling. Previously there were Aluminum and Nickel plated Aluminum, they both look similar to SS when polished.

Certainly after 5 posts you can post in most other forums, assuming you've waited for the forum to update after your 5th post, which happens at :25 after each hour. If you want quick answers, or at least the possibility of quick answers concerning the GG stuff, best to ask in the GG forum itself as far as I'm concerned.

I'm not in to big a hurry, I do have 12 hours or so. I am leaning heavily towards the GGTS without a doubt. It was never used but there is a minor scratch or two, very minor, I wonder how easily they can be buffed out.

The GGTS I am thinking of getting is different than any I've seen, it has "for my friend" and a name engraved on it. Looks like it was special made for somebody Imeo knows possibly?

He has made some at various times with "to my friend" on them. Also "By Imeo" is engraved on them. Is yours different from that? He has made some personalized ones in the past.

It is basically exactly like that, it has both "to my friend" and "by imeo" on it. It also has the wings.

CAW! IHMO the GG wins hands down. It would win without the Ithaka. I own a 2012 SSGGTS and Ithaka and they are superior. The GG has many who love it and some detractors; I also would like to point out it has been around longer. I own 5 mech mods and refer to my SSGGTS as, "My Beauty", she is definitely the best of them all. CAW!

(An after thought seeing your last post: The GG serial number is so it can be added to a master list of GG owners since it has a Lifetime warranty. The warranty will pass to whoever is sold a GG. Check out the GG forum)

Thank yardbyrd. I've pretty much already decided to go with the SSGGTS, i think I'll make it official and pick it up

I bought a well made clone of it to test out a mechanical mod, and I loved it, I would much like to have the real thing and stay away from clones.

I also have a brand new Tesla, but no matter the voltage or watts, even very low, it just seems kinda harsh and doesn't seem to smoke very well, mainly on the exhale. Did I get a lemon you think? I hear Tesla is supposed to be about as good as a provari but a third(or more) of the price.

That's a 2013 model with horizontal engraving. I'm not sure, but "Imeo" or "by Imeo" may be on the back side.I was just looking for some pictures, but could'nt find any of the back. It has not been registered yet, btw.

Generally not so much. Some people might want a "to my friend" version and pay a litte more.
