I over-discharged my batteries :( Is it safe to attempt a charge?

Hi Vets,

I over-discharged my AW IMR batteries. (14500's in a VV box mod). One of them is metering at 3.1 volts on the digital voltmeter, and the other one is metering at 2.69 volts.

I'm totally new to mods, and i knew i would over-discharge them if I didn't pay close attention.

Well, I vaped the box mod until the vapor production dropped off (because every time I metered them, they were well over 3.2 volts) and as soon as I noticed vapor production dropped off, I ended up with this situation

Is it safe for me to attempt to charge them in my Trustfire TR-001 ?

they should be fine to charge. You might make sure they do not get hot while charging, but it doesn't sound like they were damaged, just used hard. If they don't charge back to full 4+V, or if they get very hot, get some more. Always good to have several for backup.

i agree with what Kurt has posted. just watch them for the next few cycles
