I want it but geez with them coming out with the free update for my 3gs will i need the new one ya know?

My 3G still works fine and I have a video program for it. I don't video conference and I have a digital camera if I want high res pics. I'm fine with mine.

I will never own and iPhone... but if I do ever decide to join the "smartphone" bandwagon then I would buy a Droid... iTunes and iPhones and iPods all don't sit very well with me.

Get an Android phone!!! Got me a used G1 from eBay to try out Android and to keep me going until contract renewal day, its great and very useful!

Whether or not I upgrade depends more on my cell phone carrier. I'd love to upgrade from my 3G, but still have a year left on my contract. (Damn Canadian cell phone companies and their 3-year contracts!)

Just so you know, I think you can get multi-tasking with the iOS 4 upgrade, on any iPhone.
