High on Vaping
I am still new to vaping, only just over 2 weeks, but I want to go to the next level
Leave the small little batteries and clearomizers and go bigger.
I also wanted to try some harder juice, and after seeing some youtube reviews on the HS Premium juice I decided to get some of it.
This is the order today;

All with Vape Escape Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid
Jason is great, answers e mails as soon as he can, I ordered my first eGo kit with him and it's been great so far, I will still use it as my back up too.

1. Vaping Spares > Tanks and Accessories Vivi and Mini Nova Replacement Heads 2.8ohm 5 Pack

2. MODS and Advanced > Lavatube V4 Lavatube V4 18650 Full Kit

3. E-Liquids > HS Premium HS Menthol Sensation 30ml 24mg

4. E-Liquids > HS Premium HS Storm 30ml 18mg (Medium)

5. E-Liquids > HS Premium HS Delight 30ml 18mg (Medium)

6. E-Liquids > HS Premium HS Impulse 30ml 18mg (Medium)

7. Vaping Spares > Tanks and Accessories Vision Vivi Nova V2.5 Long Wick x3

A lot more cost than zainy at Zainy Electronic Cigarettes - Zainy - Electronic Cigarettes for the lava tube but at least I know where it's from and I can chat with Jason anytime and he answers.

My goal in 6 months time is to buy a 'Provari' but I wanted to test the water so to speak with the Lava Tube first.

Be about a week before I get it all, but can't wait.

Depends on the head- for the 1.8 head, I'd start at around 3.3v. For the others, start around 3.7. Go up .1 or .2 at a time until the flavor starts to taste a little burnt, then back down a couple clicks. (FWIW, I run my 1.8 head at 4.5v, and the others at more like 5.2- YMMV)

Remember to flip it upside down every couple of drags and give it a swirl to keep the wicks wet, or it will taste burnt at any voltage.

Next step is to get some kanthal wire and some cotton yarn and learn to rebuild the heads!

Do you have one?
How often do you clean it?
How do you clean it?
How long does it last before you need to replace the heads/wicks?

Using it heavily 1-2 weeks. The good thing about those is that you can rebuild them. For reference and getting started look here :

http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ystems/295410-vivi-nova-rebuild-tutorial.html

There are many different ways to do this, so just start reading up and taking in all the knowledge that is to be had on this site!

Edit... Cool 2 people already beat me to some suggestions. That is exactly why this site is so good. People always willing to help :)

I ordered these too:
Vivi and Mini Nova Replacement Heads 2.8ohm 5 Pack
Vivi & Mini Nova Replacement Heads £2.50 - Vaping Spares - Tanks & Accessories Electronic Cigarettes | Vaping Devices | Accessories | E-Liquid

I actually had no real idea about the ohm thing, from what I think is that the 2.8 will give more vapour.
But maybe I am wrong, anyone can help with this?
What voltage would be best for the 2.8 ohm?

Watts is what is really important, that determines how hot the coils get. There is a formula for figuring out your watts that figures in ohms and voltage to come up with watts, but I don't know offhand what it is.

The important thing to know is that higher ohms will require higher voltage to come up with the same watts- so if you go to a higher resistance head, you will want to raise your voltage to compensate.

I have seen some theories that claim that a higher ohm head run at higher voltage will produce better vapor (at the same wattage), but I'm not sure if it is anything more than theory.

I think that the ohms is more important when you have a fixed voltage pv, since you can't up the voltage to compensate for higher resistance. With a variable PV like the one you ordered, I don't think it is a s critical.

Click on the spearsheet in that link for a bigger view. What you need to remember is that the volts you set it at aren't necessarily the voltage you get - it may be hitting at a higher voltage. So start low and find the right voltage.

Everything has just arrived.

Got it set up and got my Vivi Nova on the Lavatube.
What I have noticed if i screw the Vivi Nova on fully i can't pull to vape, a small little lossen and it works fine.
Is there any cones I can put on as an adaptor or is having it a little loose no problem?

Feels really nice anyway, got to get use to the voltage settings but all good so far...
