Order # 2510 placed Thursday Nov 17, 2011. This mini has served me very well for over 2 years and is a great piece of kit. It has never once failed to fire. It has never once given me the slightest bit of trouble. It always works no matter what. - And, it has held up. It looks pretty much just like it did the day I got it despite quite a lot of use in inhospitable environments and more than a couple of drops.

Thanks Rob. I really appreciate the quality gear, man.

Six, this might be the perfect time to get your birthday mod an RM2 as a present :)

Well.... about that... I bought what was probably the last RM1 + some supplies for it in February. It is still sitting here in the bag never opened. I may someday, or may not ever, decide to use it.

The absolute true beauty of my REOs to me is their simple reliability. For two years now, I have done absolutely zero tinkering, zero modding, zero tweaking, zero soldering--- zero use of my multimeter - zero use of a screwdriver - zero anything... to enjoy an excellent vape with zero concern and zero worry and zero hassle and zero time spent making stuff work. The two years previous, not so much.

Analogs were easy and reliable. Remove the cellophane - remove the tinfoil - grab a filter with my teeth - flick the bick and fire it up to get my fix. They always worked. I liked easy. -- My first couple of dozen PVs were not nearly as easy. In fact, they all sucked, even the expensive ones and even the ones I really liked regardless of price. - My REOs are at least as easy as analogs and maybe even easier, plus they've proven just as reliable. I gotta make sure the batteries are charged, the bottles full, and every so often spin on a new atty. Other than that, all I gotta do is push a button and inhale. Wonderful, wonderful devices.

Every so often, I do pick up that bag with the RM and the hex screws and the kanthal and the silica... Now and then I admire it and think to myself, "Maybe I'll re-read a few of the rebuildable threads and try this thing out." But then, I push the button and inhale and forget all about it ;)

Well. I'm no photographer. I have taken a couple of pics of it over the last couple of years when people wanted to see a size comparison of a REO mini vs other devices and objects. These are the ones I keep in my ECF storage to insert in posts when asked things like that. - First one is in hand with a 306. 2nd one is with a boge carto next to a VVPV and a little madvapes vv box. And the 3rd is just with a bunch of batteries most everyone use to get an idea of the size.

I'm with you six, I have REOmizers for all my REOs, and can make coils for them that work well for me, but cartos are so easy. No fuss, no muss, rip open the plastic, stick a drip tip on and put it on the REO, squonk a couple of times and I'm in vape heaven. I could change my mind, but right now I'm using cartos. Apparently my taste buds are so fried they don't detect enough difference in the flavor for me to change on a full time basis. It is nice to know that if something happens and cartos and non rebuildable atties are no longer available I still have the REOmizer.
