:pMade with all madvapes parts except for the finishing washer for the juice catcher and the 2 brass nails for the touch switch. Those came from Lowes. The 5 vollt regulator w/ control pin works great for a touch switch, but you have to use a delrin drip tip. If you contact the metal of the atty it won't fire. It hits like a freight train, has juice for all day, and is still nice and small in the pocket. What do you guys think?

Looks great! How much did it cost you for parts and how long did it take to build?

8 bucks at madvapes and a few dollars at lowes.
You need 1 3xAA box
1 LDO 5 volt, 3.0 amp regulator with control pin!
1 3ml bottle

I had some 20 gage hypodermic needle tubing laying around from past mods but you can get that from amazon.com
all in all probably about 15 bucks including the cost of the mighty putty to seal the bottle to the 510 connector. I do it highping style, not wetbox style.

As for time it took most of a day, but that was in between working and taking care of a sick kid. The most time consuming part is soldering all those wires to the pins on the regulator. I couldn't fit a circuit board in there.

That means you use epoxy putty to join a bottle lid with the atomizer and the feed is needle through lid of bottle and tubing to bottom of bottle? Vs. the longer needle through lid but lid isn't attached to the atty?

Yes, exactly. The needle in mine does not go to the bottom however. If it did I would need to cut the bottom out of the box to get the bottle in. I just have to tilt the box to the side to make sure the bottom of the needle is submerged in juice before I squeeze. It is a fair trade-off in my opinion.

Perhaps if the demand is great enough I will do a tutorial sometime in the future. This was more of a "hey, look what I can do!" It was my first attempt at a touch switch.

That's awesome. Hoping round 3 of my box mod order arrives today. We have a local meet-up Saturday and I want to get some boxes up and running before then. The touch switch is sweet. After playing with a control pin regulator on my last build I thought about doing something similar but went ahead and used my 300g tactile switch. Now that I know the control pin is sensitive enough for touch firing I'll have to give it a go.
