Background.. I've smoked about a pack a day every day for 26 years minus 1 1/2yrs I quit.. While I was stopped I developed Ulcerative Colitis. After 3 trips to the hospital and medication thats not working and costing me a fortune I started smoking again. I read a medical study that said that nicotine patches gave me a 40% chance at going in to remission and so I thought it was worth it to start smoking again. "No responsible doctor would recommend smoking" but I'm NOT a responsible doctor.. I'm not responsible at ALL.. 
So my girlfriend and I decided to stop based on the fact that a friend of ours stopped smoking and loved to vape.. So I bought us a few 510 kits and was sold.. Soon I had 6 attys, 6 batteries, 3 AC chargers, a USB charger, 2 PCCs, and an Ego USB Passthrough.. Oh and enough juice and flavors to make a ton of liquid.. I spent about $300 on supplies.. Now, a week later.. I have some really good flavors for pennies on the dollar and my Girl and I have only bought 1 pack of smokes since then. I wanted to compare ecigs to real smoke.. I love it.. my room looks like a mad scientist lab and my friends think it's all I do.. I sit at home making juice all day vaping away my life.. Ha.. well maybe they aren't far off.. at $58/carton Analogs are killing my budget and my lungs.. My goal is not to quit nicotine.. it's a good drug for me.. I just want a manageable budget and a nominal amount to keep my stomach from cramping up and causing me so much pain.
I've not had a nic fit yet. I have forgotten my ecig and been without for a few hours and that sucked. I have 22 flavors of extract and 90ml of 100mg/ml juice to make up whatever I want whenever I want.. I want strawberry waffles w/ marshmallows and a bit of carmel and chocolate.. I got it all.. and I can add coffee or whatever I want.. I've been mixing up some tobacco juice and I made up a modified mix based on Kate51's Johnson Creek and it rocks.. only a few mixes that I threw out.. I'm hooked..
Thanks for all the info here.. It really helped me in making my purchases.. And I had to order a PCC kit for a friend of mine as well.. He'll probably want some juice to go w/ it.. lol.
