A little while ago, a less-than satisfied customer posted some negative feedback about an order issue they had. Well, being in the customer service business myself, the reply that person received from the vendor struck a sour chord with me. Had I been having a "normal" day, I would have chalked it up to an unfortunate circumstance, and moved on to the next post. I wasn't having a "normal" day however, and took the opportunity to jump onto the bandwagon so-to-speak, leaving my own comments that were not asked for, nor were they, understandably, appreciated.
Now's my chance to make amends.
Just placed an order...hesitantly called the phone number provided (due to the hour, 11:50-ish PM)...and was pleasantly greeted by Rob on the other end of the line.
Thanks Rob, you knew who I was because of the order, yet you were very polite to me - even though it would have been the perfect opportunity for you to give me a hard time. Great customer service. Well done!
I'm certain now the issue the original customer had been a one-off; I will be ordering from Rob again in the future.
