Just got a i taste mvp i run a protank single coil 2.2 ohms at 5 volts. I take about a 5 to 6 second drag. How ling should my battery last? I got abiut two days out of it but i chain vape. I go through 2 coils a week. About one tank per 200 puffs. Havent smoked the battery dead yet while counting puffs. Im currently doin that.

2 coils PER WEEK?

My god what are you sucking through that thing? Motor oil? I've never had a coil last less than 2 months. My wife managed to get 4 months out of a single coil on her SVD. I hear people talk about going through 2 a month and often wondered why, but 2 a week? All I can say is wow.

Same here. I accidentally power off my MVP all the time, when I am using it. Does V2 have that issue?

My SVD would randomly turn itself off while I was using it. Get 2 or 3 good puffs off it, go to take the next one, and it would be turned off.

Ultimately it ended up being a problem with the fire button or the wiring to it, which is unfortunate since you cannot get to the fire button in an SVD to replace it without destroying the device. At least there isn't a way that I have found.

This is completely false for Li-Ion batteries. They are not Ni-Cad's. Li-Ion's have no memory to clear. If you recharge the battery when it's at 50% power you can get double the number of charging cycles from the battery.

Um, it has nothing to do with memory... and everything to do with cycling the battery. ALL lithium batteries should be fully cycled from time to time.

If they don't clean their coils, and replace at the first hint at flavor change, then I can see someone swapping heads that quickly.

I clean my heads and tank after each use. I use hot water to rinse out my heads. After about a week or two, I notice a flavor change and I change out the flavor wick. I have 1mm silica that I use to replace the top flavor wicks. I've gone through about three heads so far as the coils finally popped (I think I was dry burning at too high a voltage. I was using 4.0 volts and popped them. At 3.7 volts I never popped a coil)

But if you don't do any maintenance on the heads, then it's easy to see someone going through them like candy.

My wife ran 4.5 volts with a 2.2 ohm coil for 4 months and only cleaned it once during that time. Of course she doesn't use anything but a pure, clear menthol in it so it's not going to get gunked up like dark juices do, but still... She goes through about 3.5ml a day of juice.

Like I said, I've never once had a coil last less than 2 months. Cleaned the tank and the wick once a week, and that was all I've ever done.

Can you provide a tech reference for that statement ??

I'm not talking about the maintenance that was needed with old ni-cads. Almost all manufacturers recommend an occasional full cycle.... say about once a month. There are a few reasons for this but I'll let ya do your own research.

So you are running 5vx5v / 2.2Ω = 25/2.2=11.36 watts...that is a pretty hefty power draw on a battery

I run my rigs at 6.5watts (bottom coil protanks), I get over a day of vaping and barely get to 4.0vdc on the battery charge, now double the power...yeah..gonna last a whole lot less

Nah dude, that's a bit less than 3 amps. I usually roll mine with under 2 ohm coils at 4.8- 5 volts. True, the battery will not last as long, but I've never been able to kill it in a full day, which is fine for me.

Could u clarify that response lol I don't get all the terms. I don't have.a variable wattage device. It's the first version of mvp.
