I've only been vaping for about 3 weeks now.

I'm still on the hunt for more flavors, and I'm trying to find stuff that I like.

I went to a local vape shop today and tested about 30 flavors. I didn't care about brand or price. I only cared about flavor and personal taste. My goal was to pick up a bottle or two, if I found anything that I liked.

After trying a whole bunch of flavors, I ended up with 2 bottles that I purchased. I guess that these are the first "premium" flavors that I have bought.

I ended up with The King by King's Cross and Hyperion by Mystique. The Mystique packaging looks like it could be a bottle of perfume or something, real fancy. I didn't know that of course when I was sampling it. I got it because I liked the flavor.

These flavors are a bit more than I would usually spend on e juice, but since I'm still experimenting, I decided to get them anyway.

Does anybody else like these two flavors or have comments on them?

I haven't tried those flavors, but I just had to comment- well done. I did some similar runs when I started too.

Not that your asking for help, but I have to share my 2 cents: The biggest thing that I found in the hunt is to make it fun, not a chore. It's so-damn-tough to find good flavors that you connect with. Reviews can only help a tiny bit, so just be picky and have fun while you spend a bit too much at the start on trial and error.

Also, I found that narrowing down to either a specific flavor type, or brand will help a lot. Many times I'll try a brand that even if I don't like the specific flavor, but there is something about the way it vapes that I like...and I'll check out a few others in their line and find a great flavor. Or the reverse, i'll try a strawberry and realize...not quite right, but I need to find a better version. Anyway, this helped me a lot, since it can be overwhelming at the start. So narrow down however you can.

Oh, also something that I got burned by a couple times when trying flavors in shops....they usually only give samples in zero nic. So I have sampled flavors, loved them and bought them in 12 nic, and sometimes they taste drastically different (this totally depends but Nic does have a flavor, or will change the mix somehow.) Not much you can do, but just something to keep in mind. Maybe the shop will let you do a small sample of one that you're on the fence about before you buy. Good luck!

My local shop puts the same juice they sell out for samples in various nic levels. I have walked in with a dripper and sampled 20 juices and was whacked on nicotine for about 2 hrs after. It's hard to try so many and tell whats good, after a while they all start to blend together and taste like nothing.

Just my opinion, I still love going and sampling though.

yes from what I have noticed is the more nic u put in the more throat hit. it's like adding black pepper to the mix

a suggestion I would make is to take some coffee with you for some reason it helps me taste again after I get where they all taste the same
