Jim, I'd like to also say thanks to everyone here (even though it's only been about 48 hours, lol), as I know soon when I figure out which is the safest/most reliable/etc e-cig, I'll be free and clear of analog smokes.

now also Jim.....where can I get a larger version of your Avatar? :D (if you don't have one, I'll just make one, that's fine, just thought I'd ask.)

I completely agree, I think this forum has played a huge role in me quitting analogs all together, I have turned quite a few people onto vaping, but My husband and I are the only ones that have actually given up analogs completely. Everyone else continues to smoke and only pulls out the 510's we got them when were around (out of guilt I assume) I think the forum let me know that sooo many other people have quit analogs this way, so I can too... And I have!
Off subject: Has any one else noticed that people who tried to stop smoking through vaping and couldnt give up the cigs find people who vape to be annoying?

Jim, I feel the same thing about this forum. Having a place to go and talk about vaping, no analogs, etc, has been a tremendous help. I sometimes wonder if I would have gone over a month without all of you. It is almost like I have transferred my obsessiveness about smoking to e-cigs and this forum. The nice thing is knowing that the people you are chatting with, are going through the same experience as you are. That is definitely a comforting feeling.

Thank you all for being a great group of folks!;)

when i got mine i quit immediately. Everybody was so amazed they bought them too. Now when i go out, 90% percent have comments to bust my stones LOL. My response is usually"Well i was going to buy everybody a round of drinks with the money i saved from E-smoking, Now i changed my mind":D

Haha I should try that. Its like Im the enemy for finding an alternative. I dont care though, I love e-smoking, and they can keep coughing up their analogs. I feel I did my part by trying to share the awesome-ness that is vaping. :p

Yeah same here. Like I go back to analogs when I don't visit this forum. Just reading these posts keeps me vaping!

Agreed! The other day at work, I went out on break and after one drag, my battery died, and I didnt know what to do. My first thought was to bum a analog from one of the boys I work with, but then I thought "No! Then Ill have to change my banner to ZERO days analog free!" and I just walked back inside. I felt really good about it, and ran home on my lunch and got new batteries.

Dpixel, where are you in WI? I'm in Waukesha, there are quite of few of us on here and we also have our own little group thread called "Behind the Cheddar Curtain". It's not too active yet, but we're working on it. :) Welcome....

Thanks for the welcome. In Lake Mills. Wife and I were camping this weekend near the Dells and a family friend had an e-cig. I was stunned. I remember hearing about the tech a few years ago, but to try it was just...wow. I quit for 3 years analog after smoking since I was 15 (I'll be 30 this year). After we ended up spending about 2 hours talking about it, I was sold. Unreal, the savings, the health benefits. I already know I can "quit" analogs (have before), but I still enjoy the mental addiction sometimes with a drink. So I'll eventually go down to 0% nicotine. Plus I just cannot WAIT to walk into a bar in Madison and use my VX2 (on the way tomorrow)

Let me know more about the group. Send a PM or something. I have lots of learning to do on this site and maybe you can guide me as a few great souls have on here so far.

All of the people I know who still smoke after trying e-cigs call the e-cig "p.ssy smokes" or "fake cigarettes" and get wound up when I'm around.

I just tell them that they're idiots and that it's not my fault they couldn't figure out how to turn it on.

They usually shut right up.

It's good to know that the community is doing what it is supposed to do.

Helping new and prospective members.

Here's hoping that all of us are able to lead happy, tobacco free lives.

Thanks in large part to you and the other fine reviewers who put their time and energy into giving fair and impartial assessments of the various units and liquids.

Not to take anything away from everyone else that jumps in to help whenever they can, of course. :)

YAY ECF!!!
