I've always had a hard time finding e liquids I like. Today, I think I finally put my finger on the flavor that bothers me so much. I think it's the flavor of the nicotine that I don't like. I've tasted it in high pg juice and high vg juice, fruit flavors, tobacco flavors and anything else. It's always seemed like a back ground flavor that seems to hit in the back ground. After reading some reviews of juices and conversations about the flavor of nicotine, I think this is what is bothering me. I'm going to try and drop my nic level and see what happens.

If you go over to the DIY section you'll find discussions on nic tastes, clarity, etc among the various nic suppliers. If dropping nic level doesn't work for you, it might be best to DIY buying your own nic as you are never going to find out what supplier a premixed juice vendor uses. Some in the DIY section will know just by the taste of the juice what supplier's nic is in it though. Anyway, wealth of info over there and good luck to you.

A lot of the bigger liquid suppliers have their own very unique base. People either love them or hate them.

You could always add a few drops of VG and reduce the nicotine and if that's what it is.

If you don't like it, I'd try a different supplier. They may use a different base, different brand of flavorings, etc.

Would help us if ya let us know what your setup is.

Da biggest factor is what joose device/topper you're using. Finding a fav flav is a lot easier when ya have a consistent and trustworthy delivery device!

Keep in mind, your PV only delivers a voltage/wattage based upon settings (if available electronically). Da rest is in da joose delivery system.

Good luck!

Though I really wouldn't consider nicotine an actual "flavor" per se, I also wouldn't call it tasteless. A slightly peppery punch as someone put it is how I'd describe it. Trying flavors at the B&M, there was no nicotine in them, and it was like inhaling air. You taste the flavor, but it's definitely not the whole picture until the nic is there. They say an unflavored juice w/ nic is akin to a Marlboro Light taste-wise.

Rather odd. I have read some of the DIY people complaining about certain Venders Nic having an odd smell and taste. I use Wizard Labs Nic and it seems totally tasteless. If I add it to PG/VG only and add a bit of sweetener all I get is a sweet taste without flavor.

Same for the MyFreedomSmokes Nic.
