So saturday night I went out and did some heavy drinking and along with that came heavy vaping. I'm still pretty new to vaping (coming up on a month now) and so I'm still testing the waters to see how my body reacts to vaping e-cigs, certain juices, nic strength etc. A night at the bar for me usually starts at 9 and goes till 2 and in that time i would probably smoke a half to 3/4 of a pack of marlboro lights. I'm 38 yrs old and being a smoker for almost 20 yrs now I never smoked in the daytime and on some days as I got older I would go without even having one cigarette but when i start drinking I always made sure I had a fresh new pack because I knew that in a couple hrs time of having some beers I would rifle through cigarettes like it was nobodys business. Well being on the juice now I have had a good experience so far up until saturday night when I chain vaped like I would have chain smoked and the past couple days have not been so pleasent. Lesson learned. I now know that my body doesnt like it when I chain vape 24 mg juice. All day sunday and monday I was in bed with flu-like symptoms as a matter of fact I thought thats what it was until I read up on Nicotine overdose symptoms and everything I was feeling was dead on to what I was reading. At that point it had made sense that considering I vaped like crazy for the first time and now I felt this way that I probably did indeed give myself a N.O.D. I'm just now starting to feel better. I even had to call it to work yesterday, it was that bad. So I think the next time I go out to the bar I'm bringing a much lower mg juice if I think im going to chain vape. Maybe something closer to 12 maybe 16mg tops but NOT 24. I still need to play around with different pg/vg ratios too. So far ive been doing the common 70pg/30vg mix but I think I may try a 50/50. I might be having a bad reaction to the PG as well as the high nic. Who knows....

Your symptoms could also describe alcohol withdrawal, better known as a hangover.

I have actually experienced nicotine overdose. When in high school I used to work on a tobacco farm in North Carolina during the summers. I didn't smoke back then. I had the nicotine overdose on the first day of work, caused by spending the day with my clothes soaked in tobacco juice. I got the nicotine through my skin. Symptoms: dizziness and nausea followed by a vigorous bout of vomiting and dry heaves. I was much better a few hours later.

Yes there is deffinatley the hangover factor but I've had hangovers a million times before and this felt WAY different and I normally dont have hangovers for 2 days. I had chest pains, shortness of breath, My ears are ringing like crazy and my pulse was racing so hard I felt it throbbing in my arms and legs, I also had a lingering headache and a burning/tingling sensation throughout my body like battery acid running through my veins or something lol. I've also been so tired and lethargic feeling the last few days that I just layed around in bed and couldnt even go to work. I dont know I guess it could be a number of things. What sucks is that unless I go see a Dr. which is hard for me to afford sometimes because I dont have insurance I dont always know what the problem is so I refer to the internet/forum boards to look up symptoms of different ailments to try and match them up with how I feel. It can be tricky though because things like the Flu, Food Poisoning and Nic Overdose all seem to share a lot of the same symptoms and effects. I just assumed that it wasnt just a coincidence that the one night I go out and really chain vape a high mg juice for the first time that its probably the cause of how I feel all of a sudden. All I know is that im not going to experiment to see if it happens again lol From now on if I go out to the bar and know im going to vape a lot to bring a much lower strength juice and see if that helps.

When I first started vaping, I was previously a light to medium smoker, but I just figured to myself "Hey 24mg sounds good! More nic the better right?" Well, I was wrong. After a few drags, I was coughing like crazy, my throat hurt, the TH was way too much, and then I felt dizzy and lightheaded. I couldn't even finish the rest of the bottle.

I'd try picking up a bottle of 12mg or 16-18mg and use that when drinking. I've been drifting towards more VG in my liquids as well, and I can't decide which I like more. I like the smoothness of VG but the 6mg 50/50 mix I'm getting now is lacking some TH. But I would try a 50/50 mix at higher nic levels.

your symptoms also deaconess cardiac trouble. don't bother kidding yourself that you are too you'NH. age does not matter. could also be the flu ear infection or strep.
the internet is a lousy place to go for medical advice. as are all quacks here.
go see a real doc. you don't want to end up in the hospital because a bunch of internet quacks agreed with your own misdiagnosis.
