I posted this on he other thread about the percent sign not showing up then realized it got moved to the site feedback forum so I am reposting my question here

Man I thought I was going crazy I couldn't figure out what those numbers meant also whew
So where can I start very simple let's say I want to make a 0 nice flavor at a 70/30 pg/vg and then maybe make it 24 mg nic where can I find the simplest way to learn this much loraines this much pg this much vg then if you want this much nic. I feel so stupid but I have read so much and I am more confused than before I started
Thanks

Thank You I am starting to make some sense out of this now that I know that the percentage sign error was confusing me the most. So where I am stuck is if I want to make a 20 percent or 30 percent of the mix be vg then should i use water for sure and how much and also on the percentage of flavor where is the starting point i probably will be using Lorraine to start.
Lastly what is a safe nice level base to use as to limit the risk to household in mg

I have:
36mg pg nic juice
0mg vg
various LorAnnes flavorings.

I do not (nor do you need to) use water or PGA, just flavoring and 0mg vg in order to bring my nic base down to my desired mg level of 24mg.

In order to use one full bottle (1 dram or 3.7ml) of flavoring so it doesn't have to be meassured out, (more importantly so I don't have an unusable volume left in it) the miniumum volume to mix would be:
11.1ml total batch size, (3.7ml flavor concentrate and 7.4ml 36mg nic base). But that is 33.3% flavoring.

In order to satisfy my target of 20% flavoring, the minimum typical recipe size changes to 18.5 ml:
12.3ml of 36mg nic base
3.7ml of concentrated flavoring
2.5ml of 0mg vg

This gives me 18.5mg of final product at 24mg and a 86.5/13.5% pg/vg ratio. Very nice for my 20mg empty bottles that I have laying around.
