Raber, try gargling some strong saltwater a few times. I do this whenever I first start to feel sick and I haven't had a full blown cold in about 5 years.
I do this as well. Works great!

Good news - I feel better today than yesterday and am at work. But decided to see if my boss would let me take 1/2 a day PTO today, to take care of some personal matters.
He said yes, so I'm out of here in about an hour (I get in at 6 in the morning - so when I take 1/2 day, I generally leave when I normally go to lunch - which is 11).
Going to go home and wait patiently.....ummmm......impatiently, for my mailman to arrive. Maybe a bit stalkerish even.![]()
Yeah, good luck with that patience thing! LOL!
Better keep your eyes on the mailbox, you might have a carrier that tries to drop the slip and run! I usually hear them and walk out to meet them at the mailbox. Mine is out by the road.
Pics when it gets here!
Well, I'm in an apartment, so they have to be there long enough to fill all the mail boxes - I'll just peek out the door every 15 minutes.
Now watch - they'll show up today after I would normally get home!![]()

I would suggest you put a note in your mailbox, tape it so they see it when opening. Tell them you are home to sign. Lots of apartment carriers just drop the note. They don't go up to the door.
Hope you catch them!
I took my tablet and waited on the stoop waiting fer mines! If the weather is tolerable, it's not a terrible option...

I parked my car at the end of the driveway and did some maintenance while I waited for my last one. Figured it was better than standing out there like an expectant father.
