Okay, I got my first 901 from TW, come to find out it was the "imposter" the 4075. No problem, loved the thing.

Just ordered a REAL 901 in green from Rob.

Having problems. It does NOT heat as hot by far and I'm not getting the nice vape off it like I do the imposter.

Anyone else have this comparison too?

Queen, your thoughts?

I've gotten several of the 901's from TW and only one "real" 901.

Judging from the atomizers, they are ALL a different vape. My favorite atomizer is burnt tasting now so I'm sad. I've got plenty more. Have tried them all. They are all different.

One of them takes a few good primer puffs with *nothing* and then all of a sudden, there is massive vapor on my next hit (guess it needs to be warmed up really good)...

One of them has a really smooth draw and decent vapor, but no massive clouds or anything. One of them is a wimp. The other atomizers pick on it and kick sand in its face at the beach. Oh, well.

Not sure. I have only used the true 901s. I have received some 4075 parts that didn't work so well with my 901 so I sent them back. I have heard that the 4075 atomizers are great, but the two I got didn't work with my carts:confused: I guess I just got lucky enough to get two bad atomizers???

That being said, the vapor and throat hit from Rob's green one is amazing for me. It did take an hour or so to break it in though.

There have been a lot of issues lately with the RN4075s matching up with the 901s parts. The DSE901 typically doesn't create a ton of vapor, typically the best it will do is with a full cartridges, an atomizer that's soaked and a fresh cart.

But than again I always use a passthrough so the vapor doesnt diminish with the battery life :X

Queen, that's because True DSE901 cartridges are shorter than RN4075 cartridges by a good 1/4" The cart may not have been sitting far enough down to wick properly :)

it is quite possible, I wasn't able to test the kits like I typically do. As I was ill with strep >.<

Didn't think people would appreciate me testing them =P
Typically I yank the ones that didn't perform to my expectations.

So it's possible, if you don't like the three let me know. They're already in the mail :X or should be in a moment, I have my partner drop em off for me :X

I thought that too, Steve, but I had some 4075 carts and they didn't work either. I go back to it being a bad atomizer. I received another 4075 atomizer and the coil was broken so I didn't even use it. I use both carts with my 901.

These things are definitely tempremental! I have a battery that only works with one (out of 5) atomizer. lol

Okay ALL resolved!!!!!! Rob stopped my order for atomizers and I am getting a refund on my real 901. ROB IS THE BEST!!!!!!!!!! Chatted with him for almost an hour. I cannot say enough about him. This is NOT his fault. I wanted another kit for parts because it was cheaper to buy that way. The real 901 is not working with my 4075 and it defeats the purpose of what I wanted. Anyhow, thank you ROB. You are awesome. I'm not saying that the real 901's are bad, but when I was already used the the 4075 and loved it, there was a difference for me. I also need my parts to work together. Thank you everyone.

Were you using the 4075 atomizer on a true 901 batt? That may be your issue ;)

Yes, I was. Why do so many people claim that the parts are interchangeable and the "same" if they are not?

I am wondering if I should give the 4075 battery and atomizer a shot. I have both kinds of carts. Are the chargers the same? hmmmmm

I have never had a 4075 atomizer not work on a 901 battery and vice versa. The 901 atomizers I have used have all lasted a while longer than the 4075 atomizers. Maybe its because the 901 does not get quite as hot and does not burn out as fast? I have had good and bad of both atomizers. 901's that vaped like a freight train and 901's that were just average. Same with the RN4075. I am on a RN4075 atomizer right now I got from Steve and its vaping like crazy and works perfect with my 901 batteries.

To use a 901 cart on a 4075 atomizer just use tweezers to pull the cart material out just a little. Then it will make good contact with the metal wicking bridge in the RN4075 atomizer.
