One time, in my "previous vaping life" (about two years ago), my vape pen with ego battery fell out of my pocket when I got out of the car. I went looking for it in the grass the next day and some lawncare guy figured out I was looking for it and handed it to me... it had obviously been run over. He said he picked it up in case someone came out looking for it. It was kinda sweet, this little run over thing. haha.
I've been pretty fortunate that (so far) nothing terribly evil has happened. I don't carry a purse, so my mods are usually in a pocket. I have had a couple pop out of my coat pocket as I'm getting out of the car, but they land on the floorboard, right by the seat. I have cracked the glass of my Subtank Mini, trying to wrest it from the chamber. I think I've dropped a PT2 and shattered that glass, but PLENTY of spares

Not a fail by any means, but I knocked my IPV mini2 off the top of my truck cab. Thought for sure it was done.
Kayfun tank blew apart on the parking lot.
Must have landed tank first. Broke the drip tip, but everything else fit back together. Mini2 just picked up a few battle scars.

My worst lost is a Super T Contour drip tip somehow between the garage and the house. May not seem like a big deal but I'd trade an atty for it.
I lost the second eGrip V1 that I bought to the dreaded 'broken USB connector'. But having knocked it off the desk several times while charging I really couldn't fault Joyetech for my own klutziness.
This is why I will never have a device with built in batteries. (Unless I win one in a contest.)
And Mods with replaceable batteries don't break when ya drop 'em?
The idea for me is if the battery or the connection to the battey charger goes bad you have to replace the whole unit as opposed to just popping in a new battery. I don't want to replace a whole unit just because I can't recharge or replace the battery.
