You all had told me when I started that my tastes were going to change frequently in the first month and you were right. Good thing I never got more then a couple bottles of the same flavor. I think I've settled on what I like at least for awhile now though. I don't really like the sweet stuff so much. Or at least that often. Nutty, tobbaco, chocolate, coffee is what floats my boat. I do vape smiln every once in awhile for that rush :D I didn't need or want a throat hit at first and now it's one of the most satisfying things about vaping for me. A good yet not too strong throat hit is soooo sweet.

I know I'm not the only one but it seems to me there is a HUGE difference in taste between the nic strengths. Somethings that I like in high I don't in med and visa versa. Now that I know this though I might go back and try some of the ones I didn't really like in a different strength.

MK seems to think people eventually like the sweets and I'm sure she's right. I'm just not there yet. Although the peach and peach cobbler can be a lovely treat at times ;)

Yeah Keyz so true. I know my VK has definitely ruined cigarettes for me. They taste like crap now. Weird but it's almost a little sad... a friend I had for so many years is dead. At least I killed it before it killed me.

Wild- Yeah don't invest too much in any of the juices. It's hard or at least it was hard for me because I didn't want to keep making orders and I really wanted to save more money then I was. In the long run though I'm sure it works out. If you buy a bunch of juice you end up not liking that would be quite a waste of money in itself. Oh and I came close to running out a few times.. scary! I fixed that by getting a 20ml of a low nic (I don't think there's much left now on the site) so I could vape that when I wasn't needing the nic so much as I was needing the action.

It's the money thing right now I'm worried about. I know in the end it going to be so much cheaper and healthier but just getting started I'm a little nervous because I have limited of everything and I afraid if I run out I might fall backwards. I'm vaping flavors and strengths I don't like right now trying to make it til when my next order will arrive.

Have you tried the swapping thread? Maybe you can find someone to trade with.

This has been only my first week vaping, but already I'm finding that I prefer richer/creamier flavors (butterscotch, vanilla, chocolate, etc) over fruity flavors. For some reason, the fruits seem harsher on my throat than the others.

Been there ;) Liked Hilton then hated it but was stuck vaping that and pineapple exclusively for a few days... not that I don't like pineapple just not ALL the time. Let's just say I was a little cranky those days. Just couldn't get that satisfied feeling.

I hope my tastes don't change too much more Doots. I couldn't bare to have my 555 turn on me.

Just order liquids like you were buying cigarettes. A carton would cost you $50 so thats 14 5ML bottles including shipping for the same price. Do that just as often as you were buying cigarettes and in 3 weeks you should have a nice stock of everything you need.

Don't worry Wildcard, I'm on a pretty strict vaping budget myself. I have never spent more than I would have on cigarettes and now that I have a little stock built up it's quite a bit less. I don't have tons of equipment either. I try out new flavors with juices because it's much less expensive.

I just checked and I've done six orders since I started in mid October (not counting one that was a Christmas Gift to a family member) and none of them were huge orders. I even started with just a PT kit. It just takes us more time to build up our stash!

If I win the lotto you can be sure one of the first things I'll be doing is making a HUGE V4L order though!

another tobacco state directly to your north, here. ;)

i think there's a certain amount of anxiety the first [insert period of time that applies to you], because it's hard to suspend the disbelief that something is actually working, and anything that might rock the boat is terrifying. :D but even with VA/NC cig prices, juice is much cheaper than cigs. i have spent a ton the first month, but the last few weeks... much of my 'stash' is untouched (which is how i want it, lol). you'll get into a pleasant routine soon, wildcard, i'm sure... and then you can coast. :D

I've turned on quite a few people to V4L lately, and my key word for them about flavors is SAMPLER. Giving nic advice is harder, though, especially since some of the flavors do change a lot even when moving from, say, 11 to 18 mg. Definitely spending some cash the first month while figuring things out, but it's a fun ride.
