I think the USPS hates me

I posted the other day about the USPS delivering my package from China to the wrong address. This time they had it in my city and decided it needed to make a U turn to go back to Chicago before coming to me.

WTF?!?!

Usps really sucks. I've had several problems with them. And has anyone noticed that the people who work at the counter seem to have the most pathetic existance ever? I've never even seen one of them crack a smile. Maybe that's just my town tho.

Not just your town. I honestly think it's a requirement for the job. The counter people at my local PO are bitter and down right rude.

That's because complaints do nothing. I swear, one of these days, I'll snap and beat the crap out of my mailman. You'll see me posting from jail.

I love usps in my town they are really good and the counter person is nice and has a sence of humor... I'm sorry you all can not have my mail service

Our postal folks are nice too - and they know everyone by name, even my kids names! LOL

Don't worry EMS hates me,I have a package going round and round in China.... must be the in thing to do.

I live in a small town, and the postal workers know who almost everyone is. I've had mail misaddressed that got to me just fine. What's crazy is FedEx SmartPost which isn't too smart. I had a package travel across the country to one of their centers about 3 hours away. Then it traveled to another center - passing right by my house on the way. Now it's 1.5 hours away in the other direction. Then they sent it even further away to another center. Then back to the center it just came from. Then back to the center it just came from again. Then and only then do they put in USPS for "Last mile" delivery. About 200 miles from my house.

Wildsky.. I guess I shouldn't complain. At least my package is in the US.

SpaceCowboy... I've heard that story before. I have a friend who lives outside of Pittsburgh and her packages get the same treatment. Their delivery methods do boggle the mind sometimes.

Got my package today. It was in a USPS cardboard envelope... all wet and tattered. Goodies were packaged well so everything was protected and not damaged.


I sure wish the USPS would get their act together.
