finalthought83: No I got mine locally from a retailer nearby; I think I know how it slipped in: when we were putting my "kit" together there were a few parts floating around, I think the LR made it to my final box by chance; this was when purchasing the 510. Got the eGo from the same place, but it had the factory steel atty with it as it comes in that fancy box unlike the 510 "kit" (use quotes because it was pieced together).
You know now that I've puffed on the regular atty I see "sucked" is way too strong a word. It is just different, and when I got used to the longer drags I realized it wasn't bad at all. I think regular attys on eGo's gave me a slightly jilted perception, too, because of that inkling of flow restriction from the cone. Its just a nice fit with the regular atty on the 510 being easier to get airflow through, and the LR on the eGo since it vapes up in an instant.
That being said, I'm interested in DC2's findings. After a week of the LR on the 510 with the stock battery I was in love. I got the charging pcc with my 510 so battery was never an issue. When I did decide to cycle the battery out, which has been twice so far, I seem to get through half a work day which for me is a 15-20 minute session while driving, and roughly 3 "smoke breaks". Not horrible, and certainly negligible when you've got a charger in your pocket. and with the rate of charging off the pcc, the pcc charge was carrying my solidly for two days at a time. Also, 510 batteries are pretty cheap too. Even if it was going through a battery every two months, I think I could live with that.
All in all though, I like the LR on the eGo, its just a nice fit, makes for a slightly more care-free experience not being concerned with unscrewing and storing in the pcc, and getting great vapor throughout the day.
Great beginners info here!
