I went ahead and got myself a E-Power from madvapes its still on its way, wont be here till Tuesday or so. Now my next question is, whats a good and reasonably priced tank setup for the E-power, and i read people for Dual Coil and against Duel Coil for this model, Whats the big difference? Thanks a lot everyone who answers these questions :D

One more thing. im still in search of a nice menthol e-juice if anyone has suggestions ;)

Welcome to ECF , and check out Madvapes cheap dual coil tanks . Thet come in 2 sizes, and are very inexpensive . I have the small one , been using it on a lavatube ,and an ego . Works great on both devices . The only negative on them is that the tank can slide up fairly easy , but I use a ming style tip , and that solves that issue .

Hey Playa, This is the e-power I got, E-Power Replacable Battery kit!

i see the battery's for that model is 14650, is that where you get your 18650? Does that number just represent the battery inside? Thanks for the info also ;)

Hey, Unkempt, glad to see you are starting out with a good entry model.

I don't use tanks so I will let others advise you on that subject. On the battery question, the 18650 is a larger battery than the 14650 and will not work in the model you got. E-Power makes both sized models, the 18650 being larger in circumference. I'm not sure how well the E-Power works with dual coils. Again, I think others will be able to give you better advise. I think they may draw too much current for those 14650 batteries but don't know for sure. Madvapes would definitely be able to advise you on that question, also.

I would suggest starting out with cartomizers or atomizers in the 2.0 - 2.5 ohm resistence range first and see how you like those. I know with my backup 5 volt box mod that I got from Ken's Box Mods Kens Boxmods that the dual coils work fine as long as you use "high drain" batteries which Ken sells as well as does Clouds of Vapor IMR High Drain. Actually, I just noticed that Clouds of Vapor sells the IMR high drain 14650 batteries which should work fine in your E-Power.

I do use Madvapes dual coil cartos but with my variable wattage Darwin as well as my 5 volt box mod. These might work fine with your E-Power but you might want to ask Madvapes before you order them:

http://www.madvapes.com/Dual-Coil-Clear-Mega-XL-Cartomizer_p_3124.html

Clear eGo Mega Dual Coil Cartomizer, Flat Tip

It helps when you are first filling these larger cartomizers to have a syringe to use for the initial filling. Madvapes also sells the syringes.

Congratulations on your new PV. You can always PM (personal message) me if you have a direct question and don't want to wait until I am scanning the forum.

Good Luck
