So we have a local vendor at our mall. They over charge but I wanted to support "my community", blah, blah, blah. He had a 6.0 volt that I liked. I think he called it, Mach 1. (I don't even want to say how much). I was told to come in for it tomorrow. Long story short, after three times of coming in and being told to come back, I'm saying, "I'm done!" I tried. (such poor customer service) Not even a "let me have your number and I'll call you when it's in.

Now I'm looking at the GLV 2, but I don't know what model to get.... the 510, 801 or 901?

2nd is the voltage... What does "no resistor installed" mean?

Its so much easier when you have it in front of you to try.

This mall kiosk also charges $25.00 for the juice. They say it's a 70/30 mix. I wanted to get opinions on that as well.

Thanks for the help.

Read up on mixing your own juice. If your going to vape, sooner or later you need to start mixing your own juice. Unless you like spending completely stupid prices for something you can do yourself quite easily. It costs me .20-30 cents to mix up a 30ml bottle for the wifey and I to put things into perspective.

Provari is the best made VV unit out there atm, the only reason it gets benched is because of the love of Attys + bottomfeeders. 2.0 ohm Dual Coil carto on a Provari is absolute heaven. 1.8 ohm cisco 306 atty on a Reo Mini is heaven also. GLV2 is nothing special, but the GLV3 I have ordered is a pretty sexy bottomfeeder: worth checking into that one.

I looked at the prodigy. I'm starting to feel "system overload" ha. It sounds like 5.0 is the "sweet spot. I'm mixed with the P18 (looks nice) and with the GLV2. More towards the GLV2.

Mixing my own juice? I'll have to check that out as well. One thing I'm figuring is that place in the mall charges a bit too much. Again, $25 for juice.

Nothing wrong with any of the mods being recommended but the GLV *IS* something special.

The interested and uninformed should check this out.

Key points (emphasis mine):
Believe it or not the GLV2 varies the voltage output - automatically.

Just in case you missed my show last night you can catch the replay by clicking the link below. Here's the deal: the GLV2 can use ANY atomizer without any modifications. I have tested the following atomizers:

1.5 ohm Cisco 510 and 306
2.0 ohm Cisco 510
2.7 ohm Boge/Liquid Xpress carto
3.3 ohm V4L coolcart
1.5 ohm 801 (non-Cisco)
1.8 ohm 901 (non-Cisco)

All of these atomizers on the GLV2 clock in between 10 and 11.5 watts. The GLV2 will adjust - without any changes or settings by the user - to produce a good voltage for the atomizer being used.

Not aware of any other standard production mod that does that. Seems pretty special to me.

IMO, self-regulating wattage, lifetime transferable warranty, and being practically indestructible makes it a front-runner for title of "best" mod.

Just my :2c:
