when i am out having a night on the town i load it up with nigher nic cinnamon. this is strong and will do the trick. It gives me the sharp hit i need when drinking. Get a small bottle at your local brick and motor store this weekend and check it out. Do not get a blend, like cinnamon and bannana or something like, just do the straight cinnamon. I use one called Red Hots! it will set you back in your chair!!

THIS.

When I first started to transition from analogs to vaping, I'd only get cravings when drinking. Cinnaroll @ 24mg was exactly what I needed. Tastes great with just about anything you drink, and the throat hit is way more than enough to keep you from lighting up.

I went for a few beers with a friend just last night. I am recently "back on the wagon" and this was my first bar experience since putting downd the analogs - again.
I did buy a pack of smokes before going just in case. But it was nearly an hour and a half of being surrounded by smoke from other patrons (and my friend) and over two beers consumed before I just couldn't take it and lit up. Three drags and I thought I was going to be sick so I put it out. But it wasn't that long before I felt the need for more of that smoke. It took two hours to smoke that one cigarette!! lol

I think slowly but surely I'll be able to go an entire night out without a smoke. Now I gotta figure out how to remember to drink some water in between so I'm not double dehydrating my brain!! I have the WORST headache this morning!

Ah your just like me, I would always buy few packs on my way to a bar on weekends. The "Leave your pack at home" method does not work at all..

Yeah, I am not even trying to kid myself at this point. Ideally, I would not buy any and just bum off people, but I really do not like doing that, particularly more than one analog. I never liked being at a party and having someone constantly bumming off me. I never planned for bums, so I would run out before the night was through.

Beer and cigs are a learned behavior. A patterned behavior learned built into the neural pathways of your brain. You have to unlearn them, break the pathways and the only way to do that it with the help of a friend. This weekend, go out with your friend. When you are ready to buy a pack of cigs, just relax and close your eyes. Take long slow inhales and long slow exhales. Feel the peace as you hold the cigs in your hand. Feel the filter and slowly inhale the raw tobacco...now as planned before with your friend, have him kick you in the junk. And by kick, I don't mean a tap, I mean punt those boys right up into the prenatal position and you double over in pain. Repeat as necessary until you no longer associate cigs with pleasure and now associate cigs with getting kick in the nuts. This form of treatment works for the vast majority of people who aren't masochists.

WholeCig. The stuff is interesting right out of the bottle, but I don't think I could vape it all by itself for very long.

So, I assume your buying the "bulk" WTA & adding it to your DIY? Or are you getting it with their flavored liquid. If so, what flavors do you like? I tend to vape tobacco flavors & have wondered about their "bulk" option.
I have only tried Aroma's liquids but don't really like their flavors. I'm in the same boat & can't quit those last few stinkies. I need any kind of kick I can get.

Sounds like a possible option for the OP.

I battled the same issue for ~ 2 years and the hangover recovery time was anywhere from 2 - 4 hours. After quitting analog, and brewing my own beer, i am almost hangover free! The best feeling is no morning after cough and I am pretty functional as soon as I get up (most of the time :) ) that coupled with the news of my wife and I finding out we were pregnant last year was a catalyst also.

It may well be an option for the OP. It was for me, and yes... it seems to work. I do hope those considering it read roly's post that I linked above. There are some uncertainties that need to be understood before going there.

I don't buy in bulk. I don't know if that option is even offered. I just buy the 30ml bottles. It is pricey at +$1/ml but I use it sparingly. At most, I'm adding it at anywhere from 10-20% by volume and another 10-20% of other flavorings, mostly tobacco. I've also experimented with naturally extracted flavors but that's so time consuming and so much hit-and-miss for me that it's not worth my time unless I decide to open a shop, and that's not something I'm ready to do just yet.

I didn't care for Aroma's flavors, either. That's what led me to WholeCig. I already knew that I could produce flavors I liked better, but there was something missing.

Congratulations! They know what causes that condition, now.

You know that vaping has done it for you when you go out to drink, get surrounded by dozens of smokers, and not get tempted at all to pick up a cig. This didn't happen to me immediately (took me about seven or eight months to hit this "milestone") but it did happen and I can't be any happier.

Drinking would be a big test for me. I've only been quit for 7 days now so that situation hasn't come up yet. I feel confident I could pass that test though, because I've gotten past two tough hurdles: work-break cigarettes, and the last one I had to conquer, the first morning cigarette with coffee.

Well I passed the test. Sunday I had about 5 Coronas and I was around people who were smoking cigarettes. Music was playing and we were hanging out on a deck in a backyard. I chain vaped and got through it fairly easy, although I was eyeing the packs of cigs sitting there and feeling urges. Nothing I couldn't handle though.

If it wasn't for vaping I definitely would have smoked, nicotine gum or whatever wouldn't have helped. I have 2 weeks cig-free now.
