The thing is though, I don't wanna break my bank. I wanna buy a clone and I've been looking at the Panzer and Nemesis mods A LOT. I like them and think they both look great, perform great, but my questions for you guys is:

1. What kind of batteries should I use? I have Efest 2000mAH 18650 High drains right now.
2. Any other mod selections I should check out?
3. What website should I order from, that is trusted for quality?

Thank you guys in advance, but I do know I am a noob, and I do plan on reading A LOT about the building, how to go about being safe with this, all that jazz. I would just like your input!

They are also fine for sub ohm, aw 18650 batteries have a 18 amp peak rating but not continuous so you will be fine right the way down to 0.4 ohms as long as you don't continuous chain vape but you are pushing the battery hard maybe keep to 0.6 ohms. The aw batteries will be fine and they are IMR safe chemistry which means they should not catch fire, so no problem. If you find a battery is getting hot then back off a little but I have run my aw18650 at 0.4 ohms and they have been fine as the battery drops voltage the amp output changes

Pulling 18 amps out of a 10 amp rated cell is not a great idea, not likely to vent but your cells won't live long. Best to have your setup running below the rated amps for the cell. I've heard it best put like a computer you can over clock if you know what your doing, but it will fail sooner.

I have no idea what top yet, I'm looking for suggestions! I'm open for anything quite honestly.
I use Sony VTC5 batteries, I'd recommend getting higher amp batteries if you plan on sub-ohming.

What topper will you be using with your mech mod?

HCigar has a nice Nemesis clone. I have one myself and works great.

I do like the sounds of those batteries, but I do also chain vape... So that could be a downfall to those for me.

I had the nemi clone but I hated the button on it, ended up just breaking on me... I went from the nemi to a Kamry 101 ($32.00) and I absolutely love love love it ! I sub-ohm (.8) and I use EH IMR 18650 batteries. What kind of tank are you thinking of getting ? I use the Trident, I love being able to build my own coils plus it's cheaper and you can't beat the taste of the E-liquid with an RDA. Hope this helped :vapor:

Perhaps you should explain what it is exactly that you want;
Is it a "Mechanical Mod" that you want?
Is it a big fat thing that powers your ecig that you want?
Do you specifically want a mechanical mod and not a regulated mod?

Batteries:
Sony vtc5.

websites; check the suppliers forums.
101vapes, madvapes, myvaporstore,discountvapers

go with the nemesis clone, its perfect easier to adjust than most of the mods and better v-drop than the panzer

on batts if you want to low sub-ohm go with the sony vtc5
if you want to mid sub ohm and want a smaller mod go with the aw 18490 16 amp you could go to .5 on the safe range those are my batts 95% of the time

now where to buy.

If your first concern is money go with fasttech (I get everything there)
if your first concern is delivery time probably 101vapes or something similar

when you are in the market for clones you need to do a lot of research on that specific model you are planning to get, some are great some are trash. if you go the fasttech route check out their forum and product discussions you can get a LOT of info there and know for sure you are getting a good product (in the case you don't they have a slow but wonderful customer service and will always help you out or replace in case it wasn't good)

I'm not sure how I feel about telescopic mods though, to be honest I haven't even looked into them, but I'll start looking into them, see what they're all about.

Could you explain what sub-ohming is? I haven't really even gotten into anything that detailed quite yet, I'm still fascinated with RiP Trippers and Cloud Chasing. :b
