I want my desktop site back!

When i found this website I made made a account, tapped full website and had a blast on these forums.

About a month ago I was no longer to view it on desktop/full site it will only let me view phone version. I can't handle viewing any forum website in phone version it at all.

I checked all the other forum sites I use and they all let me view and use it it full site/desktop site so i know it's not my phone or phone settings...

Since this happened my threads, posts, and me simply just logging on has dramatically reduce. I'm so bummed out because I love the community here and it was a ton of fun here.

I'm using the iPhone 4S like i have been since it was released and I have never had this problem before ever. I'm so disappointed this is happening to me...

Does anybody possibly know what the problem could be? Or, is this just how this website functions now? Or.., am i missing something?

It doesn't matter how many times I tap full site, logged into my account or not logged into my account it won't give me the full site.

If anybody has any idea of what the problem is please tell. I'm open to all options at this point i really miss you guys.

Somebody please help me! I would love to be a active daily member again.

I may sound silly, but have you tried clearing your cache?

As far as I know this would be a serverside issue. The forum recognizes a mobile device and defaults its view to mobile, I am guessing that the full site link is buggy, as it is on many other forums.

The best work around I know of is to use mercury. It can spoof any web browser, essentially tricking the site into thinking your iphone is a desktop.

As Jarmun suggested, try clearing your cache.

Also, make sure you don't have one of the mobile "skins" selected at the bottom left.

I have the same problem using ecf on my phone. I finally just stopped trying to log in till I am home and have access to my laptop.

you could also try Tapatalk, thats kind of a cross between the desktop version and mobile version, but with tapatalk there are a few places that you cannot start a thread in (verified member locations such as buying and selling) but can still see and respond to everything.

To get out of the mobile style on your desktop, paste this link into your browser and select the style you wish to use.

Just make sure you don't select Mobile again.

Well I'm totally confused I tried tapping full site a few times today while viewing "new members forum" with no luck. After reading a few threads I went to my profile to find this thread because it was moved. I read all the replies and by the way thank you all for all the replies, this really is a great community here. I made it down to the last thread and there it was again at the bottom of the page "full site". As I stare at it and as its staring back at me I decided to tap it one more time and to my amazement it loading up the full website! I'm in total shock and totally confused but so happy at the same time!

All I can do now is smile and truely enjoy this website once again. Thanks for all the replies everybody, true class
