I want to build a bottom feeding atty myself?

As a side project, I want to try to build a bottom feeding rda myself. I have a buddy that has a machine shop.

But I have no idea what the inside of one looks like. I mean, how do you go from a 510 connection to 2 vertical posts (electrodes). You know, those two posts with a hole that you insert the coil and screw down. I wonder if those parts can be bought (such as the post). Are they press fitted into some kind of plate that is connected to the 510?

Some just have the center post as positive, but if you are talking about 2 posts spread out without one being center here you go

Does anyone know what metals most atties are made out of? Specifically, the 510 connection that conducts the current. Are they stainless steel? aluminum? or else?

I would guess most real atties would be ss. Clones would be plated brass. Usually the 510 is made out of the same material as the body.

It doesn't seem like the juice go from the hole in the center post of the 510 directly to the coil chamber (top of the ceramic base). Does the juice first flood the base chamber of the RM2 (bottom of the ceramic base) before going up the juice hole in the ceramic base?

There isn't much empty space down there. The ceramic goes all the way to the bottom and to a gnats whisker from the sides.

There we go with the gnat's whiskers again... What ruler are you using. Mine only goes to 64ths and I'm scratching my head as to where to find a pencil that thin (in my garage). I've been chasing these gnats all day but I always smash the whiskers getting them plucked off. What's the secret of measuring a blasted gnat's whisker.

I think a gnats whiskers are just a bit finer than frogs hair.

Couldn't get the smallest feeler gauge I have in the slot, so it must be a gnats whisker.
