I want to upgrade to a VV P V Any thoughts

I like the system I'm using now The bud E cigarette. But I feel like I would like to upgrade to a variable voltage PV system. I don't have to have the best but I do want something that will be dependable. Also size matters lol don't want something that's big and bulky. Any thoughts from you experts out there? I would appreciate hearing your suggestions.

Hi,
there are a lot of different options out there, for little money you can get Ego-style batteries that have 3 to 4 different voltage settings (usually between 3.3 and 4.2 or 3.7 and 5.0 volts). Those are okay if you are just starting out.

If you want to spend a little more money, a lavatube is one of the affordable mods that lets you use standard LiMn batteries. All those mods are quite a bit larger than Ego-style batteries but let you fine-tune your settings. Buzz Pro or ProVari are other alternatives, but come at a higher price.

A Provari is the same diameter as a nickel so not big and bulky. It's 4 3/4 inches long, not counting whatever you use on top, and that's with the extender cap for using an 18650 battery.

+1 for the ProVari. This thing is built solid. Mine has fallen out my pocket getting out of a car and dropped out of my hand more times than I care to admit to and it still works. It's even pulled double duty as a bottle opener and still vapes like a champ! It is a little pricey, but in this case you actually do get what you pay for.

If you got the cash the new ProVari mini. Not so much cash then then 3VO from 310 vaping.

The quality of the Provari is consistently excellent... from my own experience and the experiences of others you can read about on ECF. The quality of the LavaTube is inconsistent. My LavaTube works great for me, but other report theirs breaking within days of first use.

The voltage regulation between the two is also different. Long story short: the Provari's regulation is better.

Workmanship: Definitely the Provari wins here, too.

I've been looking around at those myself, though my main concern is price. Anyway MadVapes has a few that might be of interest to you: Custom Mods and I'm curious about this one: Center Button VV Box Mod (EverCool) In truth though I'll probably wind up building my next PV and it will most likely be a VV, or possibly just a preset 5 volt unit. At the moment there's no urgency, I'm still enjoying my E-Power, but wouldn't mind having something new to play with.
