I'm with ya buddy, mods seem a little too personal to be buying used .......
I mean what other thing in the world that you spend all day next to your lips and nose would you ever buy used ??
I've sold a few but mine are clean and like new or I wouldn't sell them (I would gift anything that wasn't 100%)

The classies used to be a good deal, in the last six months, not soo much from what I've seen.
Reos are pm'd before you can even ask for the important stuff like macros and a real phone convo to gain some assurance your not dealing with a ....., that can't put together a sentence. I know, personally I want to hear the sellers voice and have at least a brief conversation before doing any transaction.
I'm glad you've made the most of your situation, and now it has a great personality.
You might not have been so quick to etch it, if it were brand spanking new.

Nice work, Babycrusher!! element77 is right.....you may have been braver about tackling that project because you got it used. Whatever, it's really cool looking. I like to "bling" mine out, but I'm not nearly so creative and artistic...I usually use fingernail art and stickers. Good job.
Laser engraver or no laser engraver, that is still very nicely done and looks great!!!

I meant to use this one, but we weren't sure how the engraver was going to handle it. Only difference is the thicker lines, which I wish I would have done. Live and learn, not a big deal. Now I know what I can and can't do with it though
More time would have netted better and more detail. I did not take my time doing this. Also, I did not create the original image.

Do you do a live trace for that? Which version of AI do you have?

Illustrator is what I'm making the template in. Corel Draw is what the engraver uses to print. Any . PNG file will essentially work depending on complexity.
It can cut straight through the Reo. Finish is taken off in the process.
If you have illustrator all you do is select outline when the image is opened, and essentially the mind numbing part is done. However, rebuilding the image once a rough outline is ready is also an option but takes significantly longer. It will look super solid tho.
Like I said, I literally spent zero time doing this. In fact doing all the passes on the machine took longer

As a quick note, I don't want people to think I'm offering a service. This is free for me to do and would not be fair to profit on my lack of experience or self investment.
