Where the corn grows tall
I was a 40 year smoker. 1 or 1 1/2 packs a day. Camels for many years, then Peter Stokkebye rolling tobacco with an injector to reduce costs. Until the gubmint slapped a $28/lb tax on rolling tobacco. So I switched to cheapies (Wildhorse).

I was thinking of quitting, I wanted to, but wasn't sure. The station down on the corner started selling Nicsticks so I thought I would give it a try. I didn't know anything about e-cigs. It turns out that model was a disposable (that they sold for $25 bucks!!!). It lasted just a day and a half. I returned it and got my money back.

But by golly, for that day and a half I didn't smoke any analogs! It really works! So I got online and started searching and found this forum. Read a lot of posts and learned a lot. Placed my order for a Janty eGo and juices. Meanwhile I had to smoke the Wildhorses. Yuck!

My orders arrived five days ago. After vaping for three days I decided to light up an analog just to compare the levels of satisfaction. I will never smoke analogs again, especially since the juices (FreedomSmokeUSA) taste sooo much better.

I really do wish I had found out about vaping sooner

Welcome to ECF and congratulations, you are one of the lucky ones to find this forum and make an informed decision. Great choices you made, I love my eGo and fsusa makes fine juices. I was fiddling around with sub par e-cigs for months before finding ECF and getting the right info, when I finally got the right set up and juices I was off analogs in 2 days, what a difference. I was a 2 pad smoker for 33 years so I know how you feel if only we could have done this when we were younger but it is what it is and we have to be grateful we found it now. Happy vaping!!!!!!

I am new to vaping as well. So new in fact, that I haven't even received my PV yet. :) I ordered a Blu starter kit Friday morning, and I was soooo excited about it I THEN started doing research on e-cigs. Stupid, I know. After reading more info and informing myself from these forums and youtube I decided by Friday afternooon to purchase a Joye 510 starter kit and a PCC along with some e-juice and supplies. I'm just hoping the 510 comes in the mail tomorrow. I'm ready to be done with these analogs for good. Any advice on the 510? Is it a good PV (in your opinion), cleaning tips, etc? Best places to buy parts and juice? I would love to hear from all of you, expericanced and noobies as well.

Your 510 is a good choice, good taste, good vapor and a popular model
so options for replacement parts are easy.

Your (luckiest??) move was finding this forum, there are nearly
unlimited how-to's for cleaning, mods, upgrades, juice tastes, etc....:)
You're starting way ahead of many of the posters here who like
me had to learn the hard way.
I didn't find ECF until after my second try at ordering something
that worked.

There are sections of ECF for the 510 model specific discussion, juice
reviews, modifications (dont' worry about those just yet), and of
course the noobie threads!

Did you cancel your Blu order. I recommend doing so if you haven't, and If its too late I recommend taking advantage of the money back guarantee, dont even waste your time with it, its junk

I know. I actually found out about them, then researched for a year before getting a kit at 7-11. I wished I had have jumped in sooner. (I was too afraid of wasting money.) Now I wish they had come out a lot earlier! Thanks for joining us here!

No, not stupid. If you hadn't have ordered it, maybe you wouldn't have done more research. Everybody has to start someplace. After reading posts here for a year, I realize that most of the ECF members got a junkier kit to begin with. It's all a part of the journey. LOL

Brego,

Congrats on quitting analogs!! I'm a 30 yr smoker and I just love my Joye Ecig:) I have zero desire to pick up a disgusting cig when I can vape things that taste wonderful!

Just wait till your nose wakes back up! And your taste buds! Even silly things like pretzels taste AMAZING now:)

And Brego....your breathing will get so much easier after the first couple weeks! I don't get out of breath now and my lungs never wheeze when I inhale deeply:) Thank God we found this!!

Yes, congratulations on finding e-cigs. It's never too late...I wish I'd found them earlier, too....but who knows if I would have been receptive to them until now. Not sure. This forum really helps a LOT with understanding them and sticking with them. I've been vaping for OVER four months now....I'm so proud. Breathing is much better, no wheezing, no more STINK, things smell great, things taste great, my house smells so much better...and my car....the list goes on and on and on.....

Boy, do I share that sentiment, lost my father-in-law to lung cancer last spring. Now that I know, every chance I get I'll walk up to someone smoking a cigarette and just tell them about the success I've had with my eGo, and have had nothing but good responses. Just wish I knew if I converted any of them.
