On a higher than 3.7 volt PV. It should be commercially available, not a mod and from a reputable distributor for around $100, give or take. I love my 510, but want more battery life and a more thorough juice burn/vapor.

Thank All!

GET A CHUCK!!!!

can do 3.7 AND 6 v's of vaping. fully customizable so you can put whatever picture you want on it and a battery lasts about 3 days. only 80 dollars

Thagbuilt.com you can look at all the chucks he has made and order one there. you can also watch my video review of the chuck if you click the youtube link on my signature

I think I'll need more than just a couple of suggestions before making a decision. I do like the Chuck Black Wrinkle finish version. I also checked out the Bartleby and I do like that also. I like the ability to charge it via usb. I emailed Jay and he just answered back. We're only a few miles down the road from one another and the price is better than expected. He also said I could come by and pick it up which is convenient and thoughful. Can the usb charging for the Bartleby be used like a pass-through also?

Wow - few miles down the road. Yes, the charging cord can be used as a passthrough - it's why I pulled the trigger on it. While you don't absolutely need it, I like having a full batt when I get where I'm going in the car. Check out the usb plug links in the links from my post - 1 amp or above.

That's easy. Get a mega battery. It will give you twice the time between charges and is only marginally longer. They should run $17.95 at electronicstix. Replace the baffling in your cartridge with rolled up material from a lipton pyramid tea bag. It will wick perfectly giving a consistent supply of liquid all the way to the bottom of the cartridge. There is a youtube video showing you how to use the tea bag. See, you can become a tea bagger and not even be a taxpayer....after all, we are entering a new chapter in American history.....Chapter 13. On the bright side, we are all paying a whole lot less taxes now that we're off real cigarettes.

I suppose even though I did not get a whole lot of suggestions, I'm going with the Bartleby. The main selling point for me was the ability to use it as a pass-through as I do Technical Support when I have a job. Also, to me it seems just as good as a Janty stick at 2/3's of the price. Also Jay is really, really close and doesn't mind me picking it up. Even though I do Technical Support, I'm not electronically inclined to make a box mod myself, I can wire in a car stereo, but know my limitations. I'm more mechanically inclined. Merry christmas to me! :D

I have both the Bart and the Janty Stick and the bartleby replaced the JS as my 'going out' mod. Whether it was for mowing grass or going out for the night. You could order the Bartleby in 510 - highly recommend that but also get a 510 to 801 adapter - they have them at altsmoke.com and heaven gifts. Jay may have one. OR you could just get two Barts - one of each, but I think you'd find that the 510 atty is made for this mod and battery. And as you mentioned, for what you get - basically a replacement for a PCC and PT for the 510 and the vapor! it is a true bargain.

The JS/801 atty is nice, a bit more sleek and smaller. And does good on some lighter flavors. Use the same charge cord.

Going over to Jay's tomorrow to pick up the Bart! Now, how do I hide it from the wife?? Not that she smokes or Vapes, it's just that, well, she's a wife and you guys know how that goes sometimes. :D

I lucked out on that - mine vapes ;-) and she understands how much money we're saving in the long haul... It'll be fine.

Oh mine is happy as can be about me not smoking anymore and me vaping, it's just the money thing. She's actually impressed when I show her the counter of my sig. My mouth doesn't taste like an ashtray anymore, no more billowing clouds of nasty smelling smoke, she's ok with all of that. You know to some women it's just another toy, and you know guys gotta have their toys. Example - "You already have one of those what's wrong with the one you have?" Me - "This one's better!" Her - "So how much did that one cost?" Her - "So what are you going to do with your old one?" And the list goes on...

Suppose I'm going to really have to get her something good for Christmas, huh?
