I got so excited when empiremods had the i06s for sale and I immediately ordered 5 of them. I then found out that cannon drip tips do NOT work on them and that only the drip tips that come with them will work. Has anyone come across drip tips that will work other than the standard ones that come with it? Is there a way to get the cannons to work on them? I've heard great things about the i06 attys but I'm not to keen on those default drip tips. I will be using them in a Reo Grand btw.

You mean the Cannon does NOT fit them right !!! If you have a drill press you possibly could drill out a Cannon but not by hand it will blow apart on you in my opinion. I haven't come across any other tip to fit the i06 yet rstreet55, shoot Issac an email and he may be able to send you a tip for them, would be my suggestion for now.

I second the drill press part. If you do attempt this I would use very low rpm so the acrylic doesn't crack/melt.

Hey brother! The ones from EM come with a drip tip. On their site they recommend not using them with their drip shield. I got used to the tip really quick, nice feel to them and they DO NOT leak, so very cool!

I don't think so Tim :) IO6s are only available at a few locations (Empire mods and MLV in Canada), Eastmall is not one of them.

I used the tip that came with a brand new 801.. Fit right on the i06

I had some 801's in my stash pile. The rubber ones fit, but you cannot drip through them. I cut mine off and got the tunnel cut out and then inserted a 510 drip tip-no leaks yet. Not a preferred tip, but works if you are in a pinch. Kind of makes a collar for the atty/tip.

I use them on my RSM and Grip, which are bottom feeders so no need to drip here.. I never seen any rubber tips with 801's.. Wish i had some... Mine are plastic
