BADABING!!!!!!! here it is

Here it is as requested. Here is my way of doing Dual Micro coils on the Rare Unicorn Classic classic iAtty!!!

Dual Micro coils at .6 ohms with same wire setup as I did with Ithaka. Silver 32 gauge (.200mm) with kanthol 30 gauge (.255mm). Made two coils.

Hey Bish, nice build you made there buddy. In reality what you did with the dual kanthal/silver wire isn't a micro coil but just a different dual coil setup and a nice one too. The true micro coil is by definition a relatively high ohm coil (1.7 ohms or so) but behaves like a sub ohm coil. In other words it heats up unusually easy for it's ohms (because the wire is touching) and obviously produces much more vapor that other equivalent ohm coils.

I tried exactly your setup down to every detail and it really works great if you're into a warm vape on the iatty. It works much hotter than other dual coils I use in the iatty but it produces heaps of vapor

As always, very nice job pal :toast:

Actually since I get yelled at a lot in the Microcoil thread, I have been told by the creator of microcoil, is that by definition a microcoil is a 1.5mm or less diameter coil with coils touching. It is its characteristics (fast heat up time, warm vape) that made it suitable to be a better vape than a regular coil at 1.6-1.8 ohms. But for sure it can be sub ohm and if you go to the microcoil thread you see the wonders people are doing with sub ohms. Quad microcoils, 26 awg wires, 0.3-0.6 ohms etc...

Yes that's true, I tried using thicker wire but it simply doesn't work, it requires a lot of power to heat it up. Best micro's I've managed to make are about 1.2-1.5 ohms each and vape like half the resistance. They heat up as fast and produce vapor like a 0.6 ohm regular coil but actually measure 1.2-1.5 ohms. Now you make 2 x 1.2 ohm micro's and you have a fog machine that measures out at 0.6 overall resistance.
As you correctly said there are some cloud chasers that make quad 1.2 ohms (4 x 1.2) and get overall resistance of 0.3 ohms which are simply crazy

I actually have a single micro coil in a dripper which measures out at 1.6 ohms and vapes like a champ and produces plumes of vapor at 12 watts

Same here. I am also using Imeo's ribbon wires to make microcoils which in this case are called tin man coils (named by RipTripper), and they perform great in any GG atomizer. I can't remember the last time I coiled around a silica.

Call it whatever you want when you merge two resistance wires together slapping each other in side. also adding sub ohms to equation is nothing short of an EXPLOSION of flavor and vapor. HANDS DOWN no comparison vape. Call it micro, call it snoopy coils, call it OOOFAAAAAA coils, what ever that sht is one of the best tasting builds I have used to date.

Now my enjoyment is a hair under 1.2 ohms each wire. to make it at border line .6 ohms that's if im using a stainless steel ggts or stainless steel Just gg. if im using brass ggts or brass just gg i raise the resistance a litter higher to .64-.68 ohms.
