Something strange happened just last evening and this morning. Yesterday (Sunday), I unpackaged a brand new iClear 30, and had been vaping with it, together with an Ego battery, most of the afternoon and evening.
At some point, the battery died, and I proceeded to plug it into my recharger while I fixed up another that was sitting ready. Very soon after, it also went dead. "Hmmm" I thought, "What're the odds of that?" It was getting fairly late by this time, so I went to bed.
In the morning, I again grabbed the iClear, and this time threaded it onto a battery which I knew was fully charged, and also brand new. I had bought a few weeks prior, but hadn't yet had need of it. Anyhow, I had barely taken my first drag when it, too, went dead.
"What the hell? That's not good..." All three of these batteries were now completely dead to the world. Pushing the button didn't even elicit a single blink.
I've just returned from work, plugged that last battery into my charger, and after about ten minutes, the charger is showing green and the battery appears to be, once again, fully charged.
Has anyone ever heard of this before? A Tank somehow draining, or otherwise damaging, a battery? I can imagine a battery frying the atomizer in a tank, but I have to admit, I'm a little stymied by this one.
I've been vaping for about 10 months now (completely smoke free), but am by no means any kind of expert. I've otherwise been very content and haven't encountered any other problems with various batteries or a variety of tanks, including other iClear 16s and 30s...
A strange one, but any theories would be most welcome
