I got an Iclear 30 with my MVP2.0 and it is horrible. Every other hit is a dry hit until I swirl the liquid around the wicks again. I've boiled the whole thing, tried spreading out the wicks a bit, trimmed the rubber piece on top, and nothing helps. I'm getting pretty sick of it, I have no replacement coils to use and don't want to buy more, I just want this one to work.

I have the same device and and iclear 30. I have not had a dry hit (other than when I first fill it after a good cleaning and it hasn't wicked up enough fluid yet - just my being to eager to start puffing :) )

Is it the liquid not wicking well? Have you tried different kinds or only one kind? Also - did it work well and have some use (or a very dark liquid) and maybe need a good cleaning and dry burn? If not - maybe a dud?? I have not had any issues with mine - yet -

I've gotten a few dry hits on mine too, usually when the tank is low or right after I fill it. I chalk those up to user error. My bigger problem is it gurgles like crazy. I think the wick brings so much juice up that if you don't chain vape it it drips down the center tube. I've also had the coil start to unscrew itself from the base a few times, it's hard to tell until I see juice leaking...

Other than that, I love it, I use it for flavors that taste good warm like banana bread, hazelnut, coffee, etc.

If you over tighten the mouthpiece cap, it will begin to flood and gurgle. Smug, not tight is the best rule. Other times condensation might build up if chain-vaping; simply tipping the mouthpiece into some paper towel will easily expel excess condensation.

Never had wicking issues with any of my iclears. Sorry for yours.

This. I use 100% VG liquids (which are the hardest to keep wicked due to its thickness) with no problems in the iClear 30's, I just have to give them sufficient time to wick first. It takes a while for all 16 of them to saturate.

I've had no problems either... been using gorilla juice in mine lately with no issues. You do have to tip and twirl the thicker juices, but not that much of a problem. It's the best hitting topper I own at the moment.

Only issue I have is with the battery or vamo v3 is that it doesn't lock the wattage or voltage. I don't notice if it climbs from the 8.5 watt setting and the juice gets burned and basically useless towards the end of the tank. Did you buy a clone (if even one exists, I don't know)?

I'll try it with the top cap tightened less. I do tend to lock it on there pretty good. Thanks!

Hmm my iclears are actually my favorite setup with my svd. I only need to tilt or swirl if I've got less then 1/2ml left in the tank.

I use a 65pg/35vg mix in mine. Maybe its a issue with your juice or your voltage. I've had dry hits if my wattage is to high and the tank is low. Also have you tried dry hitting (short, sharp draws not pressing the fire button) to help the wicking get started? This helps start mine.
