iclear 30 problem

I've done something to my iclear 30 whilst refilling , I think Ive lost something , now the coil is exposed, vapour is clouding up the tank. Any ideas what ive lost ?.

A seal maybe ?

Is the white'ish, clear'ish silicone top still on the top over the wicks?

no , am pretty sure it is that , so have improvised, but its a bit loose , so am worried about refilling too much
