I don't post often to forums thus leaving here as the only option. I have searched and found this information no where else so I decided to post it.
I'm sure there are others like me who like the 30b but cannot use it due to the constant leak/gurgle that is inherent in the vast majority of 30b.s
I believe I have found the major flaw that causes the leak in the Iclear 30b. The o ring that mates the coil to the center post is undersized for the cut out/indent they have designed in the coils. After frustration followed by angry deconstruction I noticed the indent on the coil and that the o ring does not completely fill this void let alone provide the needed height/width to form a seal. As a test and temporary fix I have taken the o ring from another coil and stacked them to produce a seal that has prevented leaking for 4 hours of use now. I have contacted innokin to pass along the info but felt it necessary to share here as well in the hopes of helping others who like me enjoy the tank but needed a way to rid themselves of the leaking.
