iclear16 clearomizers Why buy wicks?

I just recently started using innokin iclear16 clearomizers (duel coil). I liked that they were rebuildable and thought it could save me some money. I bought replacement wicks not realizing that they don't come with the atomizer! And to buy the atomizer, it comes with wicks! Why would anyone buy replacement wicks without an atomizer???

What are you calling the atomizer. It will help to answer the question. I'm guessing the replaceable head is what your talking about. Or are you talking about the coil? If you rebuild that head you will need wire unless you bought pre wound wicks. Wick with the coil already in place. You can by premade coil wire with the low resistance wire tips you will probably need. But I'm guessing since i don't know what that head looks like inside. The premade wire i'm talking about is the wire used for Other heads but most often for the Ithaca type RBA's but they can be used on the Vivi's, Protanks and other types of attys. I put in more than I first wanted as I was trying to guess what your calling the atomizer. I'll check back and add more if you can expand on your question.

People buy replacement wicks for all types of attys and the various wick types, silica, ekowool, cotton etc) give you a different flavor. Then they buy replacement wire to make a coil at the ohms they like. It sounds to me like you want replacement heads so you don't have to rebuild your coils.
