iclear16 drip tips?

I'm sorry this is in the wrong forum. For what ever reason clearomizer isn't listed on tapatalk.
Anyway I don't own one and was going to order one from FT. I am wondering if the drip tip can be change

Yes, the drip tip is removable/changeable. Just bought my first one today. I am not disappointed.

No, that is not true.

Just to be clear (no pun intended), the iClear clearomizer "tops" are propriatary. They do come in different colors, but you can not just replace the tip with any 510 drip tip. It must be the entire top cap/tip of another iClear 16.

I brought home 1 Kanger Protank II, 1 ViVi Nova, and 1 iClear 16 today. And a cheap VV Vision Spinner just to get my feel for it before I choose a more exciting VV like a Provari or the like.

I'm a newb of 1 month and have had a 5v SmokTech woo for a couple weeks........ Holy VV. I can see why it's a great learning tool with different clears and ohms.

iClear - cheap and simple.
ViVi Nova - again, common, cheap and simple.
Kanger Protank II - heavy, pretty, bottom coil, and larger capacity.

Figured I had to get some hands on exp with these since they are commonly talked about. I learned a lot today. I desperately want to know it all, but I'm glad to start at the beginning like everybody else.

The drip tips are interchangeable on the Kanger and ViVi Nova. But the tip on the iClear threads into the top.

Correct. The only modification you can really do to a iClear16 is use a iClear30 coil. Both interchange and some people prefer them that way. I like my iClear30 but it sure is a juice hog. Im still waiting on some i16s and might just order some online if the local shop does not get them soon.

What is the benefit of using a 30 coil in a 16?

There is a youtube video that explains it. The wick style is just a little different. The 16 has less strands but they are thicker and the 30 has more strands but they are thinner.
