So just yesterday I started using a new itaste mvp 2. Both clearomizers were working fine. I just refilled one & overfilled it a bit...

Poured it out but wont fire... if I press the two buttons it shows the value of the clearamizer is all ovrr.

A0.6 then a1.2. Then a1.7...

But when I pull and press the power button nothing happens.. & the value will remain a0.0

Please tell me its not ruined!

Edit to add. The other iclear16 is working fine & shows a2.0 as it should.. so its not the device.

That happens a lot with the 16's. Need to make sure coil ...'y is tightened to base, and that base is snug, but not too tight, to mvp. You can also try grabbing the wicks of the top coil and giving it a gentle tug upwards to make sure its not contacting the bottom coil.

If those re tightening measures don't work time for a new head. All together, Innokin heads don't last very long imo.

You'll notice that as you tighten and loosen you get different resistance measurements, and your mod won't fire until it is within range.

Mine works after refill but I have a different problem. The draw becomes so tight I can barely vape on it. 2 new ones have done this. They were great until I refilled. I re-adjusted all the parts multiple times and still the same thing. I tried to screw the tip on less tight, more tight. No luck. Any ideas what the problem is?

Did a little liquid get down the center hole? I have also had the drip tip not be centered correctly on the plastic cap around the center hole. Take it off the battery, put a napkin over the drip tip and blow through the bottom. Also, try removing the drip tip to see if moisture is blocking the little hole in the center cap.

Another thought--Are you holding your hand over the air vent/intake holes on the base?

I have taken the clearo off and blown threw the bottom.. not flooded with juice. Not holding my hand over airflow vents. I have tried all the tricks you mention, but it still vapes really tight. The little white top cap is centered and not with fluid in it.. not sure what to check next. I don't want to toss it because the coils are still working and it;s new.. just can't make it draw right.

Pulling up on the wicks seems to have fixed it. In hindsight it had neverb worked perfect.. just thought ab liquid was harsh.. in the good clearomizer it tasted fine.. just tried the wick trick and its firing and staying at 2.0 amps

Dn mind getting new heads but they need to last longer than a day.. esp. W a quality unit like the mvp 2

Editing to add.. this is the best this head has ever hit since the fix

So as I vape on this 'fixed' clearomizer. .. gone from 2.0a to 1.7a.. still puffing good though.. when I put the good one in its still 2.0

Glad to hear the wick tug worked.

Resistance is going to slightly fluctuate on your coil heads from time to time. As the coil ages the resistance will grow. Then you have a situation where 2 of the coil wraps might be laying a little too close to one another, and so you get a lower resistance reading. Then you move the tank around a little bit, and reading changes back.

This whole industry is experiencing growing pains at the moment. If you just stick with it and look for help when you need it, sooner or later all this vaping stuff is bound to get easier.
