Hello. I'm new to vaping and just started two days ago. I bought an innokin MVP 2.0 which came with two iClear16s. One of the iClears works fine and its resistance shows up as 2.0 ohms on the MVP. but I am having trouble with the other one which shows up as 0.5 to 0.8 ohms on the MVP and won't fire. Did I just get one bad iClear? Anything I can try to get it to work? Is this common? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!

Probably the head is not tightened on well enough. This is a problem with iClears especially if you've already filled the tank. You have to either dump the tank and take it apart and make sure the head is screwed to the base VERY tightly or you can get in there with a pair of tweezers or something and do it without taking the entire thing apart. Good luck.

Sounds like a bad coil, it could be shorting out when you try to fire it, just a wire touching where it shouldnt. Replace the coil, do you have extras, try one of those see if it works. If not run to your local B&M and get a few they are like $3 each here. Or better yet upgrade your Iclear to a bottom coil tank, aspire or pro tanks are ok, the new air control tanks are nice, the Nautilus is like $35.00 but well worth it from all the reviews I have seen.

Good luck and dont give up, keep vaping its saving your life.

Thanks for all the responses. I ordered replacement coils. I can get this one to work and show 2.0 if I screw it on *just* right..i.e. somewhat loose. A tighter fit causes the ohm meter on the MVP to drop to 0.6 or 0.9. I ordered a Mini Protank II as well to see how that compares to the iClear. So far I'm loving vaping and have only had two cigs in a week (when out drinking).
