I have a request from all you DIY-ers, and some questions. Thank you all in advance for taking the time to read though this lengthy post, and providing ideas, sources, and example pictures.
I wanna see your set up! Id love for everyone to share a few pictures of their "mixing station". -
On top of that, feel free to take close up pics of what you use (If you do this)... Of what you use to hold your nicotine, pg, and vg while mixing, so you dont knock it over on accident. Along with what you use to hold the bottle your mixing in (Again, if you use something to hold it) Either way, Flash your stash! I wanna see your messy (or seriously ocd organized desk or work areas!) BRING ON THE PICTURES!
Which leads me to a couple questions (please place a "#1, #2, #3" at the begging of your answer, and number your answer accoding to which number qustion of mine you are answering.... I have a feeling once people start posing pics and having side discussion, its going to be hard for me to come back and re-track down all the answers lol... this way I can just look for the "#__" at the beginning. THANKS!
1, I get my pg, vg, nicotine etc, in different size containers. Id love to find some 90-120ml containers that are all the same size, that would be easy to uncap, and extract the contents while mixing.. Maybe if someone knows of some empty bottles to buy, and where I can buy them.. Maybe some glass-wear or something... Also, if there is a set of 3-4 containers, it would be cool if they come in their own little stand, or rack that I can sit on the desk, so I cont knock the individual bottles over while mixing.
2. As mentioned above, If anyone has any good ideas for "desk holders" to hold the pg, vg, and nicotine containers, so it wont fall over, get kocked over, and just looks nice (I am trying to set up my mixing station to look really nicely put together and clean, Black everything, or stainless steel would be amazing!
3. Along with the desk stands or holders, I have all my flavors displayed on "Steps" that I made using a TON of decks of playing cards (I am a magician, so I have loads of them) and I stacked like a long row 4 decks high, then the next 3 decks, 2, and 1, and have all the bottles lined up and stepped so I can read the flavor of each bottle and it looks nice... so I am either looking for a sort of stepped display table, or whatever that can sit on the desk, I have seen shot glass displays like that.
4. Again, for more holders, I was thinking maybe a shot glass display, But something that can hang on the wall and have all my flavors displayed, It would need to be able to hold anywhere from a 10ml - 30ml bottle in it, while still being able to read the labels. Also, would like if it had sort of a ledge, lip or "railing" on it so that they don't fall off, soft of like the hanging racks that e-cig stores use to hang and display their e-liquid for sale.
5. Any other "cool" organizational items that you believe any DIY-er should have on their work station, This can also include the syringes, tools for coil building, the materials for coil building, etc, or anything else you can think of! - Post some pic if you use what you are recommending!
