After somewhat recently purchasing an Itaste vv 3.0, I found myself wanting some sort of holder/stand for while I'm at my desk, in a car, etc. I had thankfully been told by the shop where I bought it that I needed to be careful of things like it falling over and didn't want my new purchase to be ruined because of a simple topple.
So, I did some thinking and searching around my home until I happened across a perfect tool for the job. I found an old reed diffuser which had an opening that perfectly fit my device. The only thing (besides a very proper cleaning) that I added to it was a few small pieces of micro-fiber cloth to the inner bottom. This was done to add a small cushion to allow it to be dropped an inch or so into it without fear of somehow damaging it against the glass. While it likely would be okay without it, I didn't like the idea of it bouncing against the bottom glass.
The other benefit is that it would be a very easy container to decorate if the added color was wanted. Plus, with these types of containers being purchasable for a couple of dollars from any hobby/craft store; it is a cheap way to have a holder for anywhere that they may be needed. (I found it to be a wonderful thing to have for placing in the cup holder of a car for easy and safe holding while not in use on the road.)
Hope that this helps anyone who would like to have something simple and cheap to help preserve your devices!
