Ideas for a different APV? What APV do you have and why do you love (or not love) it?

Last Saturday I sold a lot of my old stuff (ego types) and I am left with my 3 Sigeleis, but one of the people I sold some stuff to really wants one of those as well. I'm thinking of selling one to her and trying a different APV, but Idk what other ones are good. I've ONLY had Sigeleis, I have 2 minis (one is the one I'm thinking of selling) and 1 V3 telescope style. As of right now I only use 18350's, I've never telescoped the V3 b/c I don't love the way it looks that way. I know there are mods that use different tubes rather than telescoping to different sizes, but Idk which mods those are.

So I guess what I'm looking for is something that's not going to break the bank (for sure!), VW is a must, I use 2ohm single coil cartos at 8-9 (sometimes 10 if I use dual coil) watts, I'd like one that has the different tubes to use different size batteries, that's not a huge thing but all of my batteries at this time are the 350's b/c I like the smaller size.

I've thought about trying a Vamo, a lot of people seem to like those, but Idk anything about those. If you have any suggestions, please tell me what and WHY. I'm really happy with my Sigeleis so I may just stick to what I know, I just want to try something different lol.

Thanks in advance for the advice/suggestions!

I have a sigelei and a vamo.
Here's my vamo in short mode; the interesting part is the tube that comes off from the bottom to use the shorter batter can screw on on the top and protect my glass tank; I almost bought a second vamo just to get the extra tube but I managed to get an extra tube from a friend; now I really do got a light sabre! If I get an extra bottom cap I'll be able to completely enclose it, tank and all when not in use.

Now compared to my sigelei zmax, the gender on the bottom cap is the reverse; on the vamo, the bottom cap is female threaded; on the zmax the bottom cap is male threaded; I don't even unscrew the bottom cap on the vamo to change the battery- I find it more conveneint to unscrew the whole tube section with the cap remaining on.

What version is the vamo? And how is it performance wise compared to the Sig.?

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I437Z using Tapatalk

my vamo is a v3 chrome brass.
1 topcap
1 control section
2 extension tubes
1 bottom cap

my zmax stainless steel 510-only, is just 2 parts
1 main tube
1 end cap (and a spare endcap for stacked 18350's)

my zmax has a more solid feel in the hand, but I end up using the vamo more because of the 3 control buttons. easier to check battvolts and coilohms

sometimes my vamo cuts off on me probably because the brass sections rock a little and the battery may lose contact or something.

I can't compare the Sigs with the Vamo.. never had a Sig.. The SVD compared to the V2 Vamo I had is Way Better! But that is My experience. YMMV.
I'm currently waiting for some Vamo V5 boards (same as V3 I'm told) to make my own APV's out of. One of these is in a smallish battery charger case for the wife. She Will Like It! (Yes.. picture me saying that with eyes popping out and with as deep a voice as possible.....)

Sometimes, you've just got to take a chance on a new APV to see if you're going to like it. It also helps if you have More Money.. LOL

Thank you for that info! My pink Zmax mini cuts off on me as well, but it's something to do with the button, Idk what it is, but it drives me nuts... although I am starting to get used to it lol.

As I said before, I do really enjoy my Sigeleis, but only having used them, I'd like to try something new. Idk what I'm doing lol.

I have up to about $100 to spend, I don't WANT to spend that much, but I have it if needed.

Now, I'm not saying "Buy from FastTech".. but you can at least look there to see what many different APV flavors there are, and get the specifications and see reviews...

If something tickles your fancy.... You can always find it a bit more locally!

I was on there this AM and for some reason the reviews aren't working, I can't click on the 'reviews' link. I'm going to give it some time and try again.

Idk what I want, maybe I should just stick to what I know/what works, but I have this feeling, almost like only having 1 'partner' in a whole lifetime lol, like I'm not sure if something better is out there b/c I've only 'been with' this ONE. lol weird analogy I know, but it's all I could come up with!
